What a wonderful quaint little excellent Thai restaurant. The food is fresh, authentic and excellent value. My wife and I travel from the south to come to this establishment. Very casual, but worth it.

I've tried many of Sydney's Thai restaurants and this is my favourite. The food is great with really fresh ingredients and delicious sauces. Try the crab spring rolls and the chilli basil chicken stir fry. The mussaman curry is the best I have found anywhere, with the beef so tender it just falls apart.

Eating-in portions are more than enough and seem more generous than take away or free home-delivery portions. Delivery is very quick, though. Service is always super-friendly and fast. It's a small and unpretentious restaurant with an open-plan kitchen, so you feel part of the action and can watch the chefs creating your dish.

Really good food, really good value!

My love for great Thai food keeps bringing me back to this place and believe me I have eaten in a lot of Thai restaurants. Good work guys must recommend to everyone who likes a bit of spice in there life.

Very nice and food worth paying for. Spicy thai food and sweet chilli with spring rolls are the best.

I love Just Thai, eating in or taking away. Eating in, you get a pretty intimate space, good service, and steaming hot plates of tasty food at very low prices. Not super spicy, but you can ask them to amp it up, and they'll do so happily. Delivery is amazing. Most of the above applies, and once it was at my house within 11 minutes of me placing the call!

Been there a few times. Some of the food is really nice and a bit different from the usual Thai food (crab spring rolls - best with the optional plum sauce- black pepper curry, etc.). Their black pepper curry is great, especially if you ask for it hot. However, the food can be rather bland (and I mean really bland) if you don't ask for it hot. They have a good selection of fresh vegetables in their mains and servings are quite generous (except for the rice). The soup we tried (tum yum) was also quite nice.

Overall one of the better Thai options around Bondi.

Good value is to be had here in this unpretentious Thai eatery at the beach end of Bondi Road, near the corner of Denham Street. Two of us dined and after our 25% Ent Book voucher, the bill came to an unbelievable $26. For that we got two starters, two mains (one vegetarian, one beef), rice and a refreshing pot of jasmine tea to wash it down. Food was delicious, freshly made and served with a smile in generous portions.

It's small and fairly popular and they don't take bookings so if you're planning to dine there on a Saturday night, it's best to arrive early. We easily got a table at 6.45am but by the time we left, an hour later, it was pretty full. Ambience is pleasantly casual, with modest décor and mags to read while you wait for your food. A busy take away section helps to keep the place buzzing with activity. Main seating is at a long, communal table with wooden benches. We found it a little uncomfortable and grabbed the first chance we could to move to the only private table in the house - a large, comfy one for four, by the window with back-less leather seats.

Getting to the toilet is a long trek down a flight of stairs and out the back but when you do get there, you'll find them spotlessly clean with adequate soap, paper and towels. Being Bondi Road, parking can be a problem. We got a free spot near Kemeny's in Wellington Street, a few blocks up the road but enjoyed the stroll there and back. And remember to bring your cash - they don't take cards.

This place is great value for money, everything is cooked to order in front of you and its sooooo fresh and tastes great. Highly recommend this place.

This is our favourite place to go in Bondi. It's quick, delicious and well priced. The vibe is great and it's always bustling. The food is divine and they always have the most fresh and seasonal ingredients with a beautiful and diverse menu. BYO is a bonus and the staff are ever so friendly. As said below, a real gem!

Fresh ingredients is always in abundance at Just Thai and this is shows in the fact that it is always at least half full. The food always great and seasoned beautifully, the servings are quite big too, the staff are lovely and are happy to make me 'prik nam pla' or chilli's in fish sauce as an accompaniment (not on menu). I go here often as it's BYO and fun if it's just 2 or 8 of you. An absolute gem in Bondi's low-mid price range of eateries.
