The food is always very fresh, freshly prepared, tasty and overall pretty well priced for the size and quality.

Staff is extremely friendly. Drinks are quite expensive and there is no BYO. If you don't like (to listen to) Karaoke don't go there. The share dishes are especially great and fun. Make sure to tell your mates that they'll have to take off their shoes before entering. Always helps to make a booking and to turn up a few minutes before your booking time to make sure the staff know that you're there.

After waiting 2 hours for my main (delivered at 10.30 pm) and having my ears assaulted by karaoke wannabes I wanted to kill myself. If I hadn't eaten in 86 years you still couldn't pay me to eat here. Needless to say, I will not be a returning customer.

3 and a half hours of torture and the food didn't come out until the last hour. I didn't pay for ROT service, foot ROT and tone deaf creatures.

This place is hard to find for a first timer but it is tucked away between a Mexican place and another Japanese (takeaway) restaurant funnily enough.

Anyway, I found the Ju Ju to be ok. There were too many waiters in my opinion just standing around though. When our orders came, they sometimes brought to our table the orders of other tables so getting the right dishes to the right tables is something that needs to be worked on.

The sushi is tasty and fresh but the food is overpriced for the portions. The Japanese pancake and chicken teriyaki (main size) came out absolutely drenched in teriyaki and bbq sauce to the point where I was starting to feel sick.

The highlight of the evening would be the green tea dessert (we had to remind the waiter to have it brought to us). The ice cream is fresh, light, and genuinely made from green tea powder.

Overall, Ju Ju is a great restaurant with a comfy atmosphere and the novelty of taking off your shoes before entering is fun.

This place had the worst service of anywhere I have ever been! I can not emphasise enough just how bad it was. The food was ok, but it took far too long to come and was not worth the ridiculous wait. I do not recommend it in the slightest.

Me and my partner love going to Ju Ju's for dinner, its one of our favorite places. We enjoy the food (best Karaage in Sydney if you ask us, and we have checked). The people are great and fun and the whole place has a great vibe, I suggest this to everyone.

I like Juju this japanese restaurant, when I go there, I fell a harmonious atmosphere around me. The food is yummy, the service is fantastic. I recommend more people to try the food which are from Juju.

Went there for the first time in many years. We used to go to Ju Ju quite regularly and loved their food as "cheap but good quality". This time, I don't know if the owner has been changed or not, everything we ordered disappointed us. Okonomiyaki, Beef tataki, Chicken Namban, etc, they all tasted as if frozen or prepared food, nothing tasted fresh as they used to be. Deep fried dish was too greasy and the cooking oil tasted days old as well. Assorted Sushi was just ok, nothing special.

You may still enjoy the unique atmosphere if you go there as a big group of people with bit of Karaoke, but I don't recommend there for dinner at all anymore.

This place is an icon in Sydney. Everyone knows about Ju Ju's at the Cross. Everyone knows you go to Ju Ju's for the shabu shabu and the karaoke. Everyone knows you go to Ju Ju's to drink sake with your friends. What most people don't know is that the real gem about Ju Ju's is the ala carte menu and avoid the karaoke times if you want a more intimate and quiet dinner. The tuna carpaccio is the best I've had. The beef tataki is the best I've had. But I say this without having been to Japan yet.

Went to Ju Ju for my birthday party with girlfriends, it was a great dinner! The chicken karaage is oh so yum! I particularly love the seating. Will try the karaoke next time.
