The food is fabulous and the ambience is fun and novel - you do feel as a group or a couple that you have your own little area (that looks like a corral!) and enjoy a sumptuous meal in semi-privacy. However, we found the service to be appalling. It did seem as though they were short staffed but aside from that we were actually ignored and had orders forgotten as well.

At one point we all felt like meerkats constantly popping up and down in our seats trying to grab someone's attention. The female staff seemed much more friendly than the males. The upside of being ignored however is that you really can drag your meal out - we stayed for two hours! Drinks are cheap.

After hearing a few bad reviews about service and rudeness I was a bit apprehensive about this place but after attending last night I couldnt fault it, on the contrary, staff were always smiling and extremely friendly. I dropped my chopstick on the ground and within 5 seconds the guy at the bar ran down and gave me new ones. Some waiter dropped toothpicks on the floor and then apologised to everyone around him for the inconvenience. The food came extremely quickly, within 5 minutes of ordering we had our miso and about half way through those the mains started rolling out. The food was exceptional, the salmon sashimi was the best I have ever tasted. The price was also quite good considering all the food we ordered. Highly recommended, I will be going back....

I went there for the first time last night, for a friend's birthday. And what a wonderful night we had. The food was good; sashimi was really fresh & yummy, salmon was nice but a tad overcooked. I found the service to be excellent. Staff were really polite, friendly and attentive.

The staff here are incredibly rude - not typical of the Japanese culture at all! Drinks overpriced for what they were and felt rushed thru,although the birthday girl had booked for the night.

Ju Ju's is a great place to go with a large group of friends and is cheap and easy!!! Though the service isn't 110% it is still a fun place with a great atmosphere for group type occasions!

I go back regularly, always good value for money. The sashimi is always fresh and the food is always high quality. Definitely recommended.

Nice Japanese restaurant. Love the sukiyaki beef, beef tataki (raw beef), seafood salad and hokke (grilled fish). Very yummy, enjoyed everytime I go. Except, sometimes it takes ages to be served and also they dont accept cash. If they accept creditcard, it would be good ..so people can get reward points!!
