Set in cottage style, the restaurant serves Indian food with a difference. The chef uses some unique blend of spices the food is from various regions in India.
it is a family friendly restaurant. Kids Room is available where kids can play with toys or watch TV while Mom and Dad enjoy their dinner.

I have been here a total of 5 times and think it is probably one of the best Indian restaurants in the Hills district. Food is great especially the butter chicken and garlic naan. The only small criticism I have is that the decor/atmosphere is not up to par with the quality of the food and service.

From the outside it doesnt look too special but I have to say that the food is superb. The mild is actually mild so that you can taste all the beautiful flavours. A great range of vegetarian options which we love. Lovely people too.

We come here quite regularly and this time there was a new menu. We were a bit worried as previously the food has been very good and we were looking forward to our 'usuals'. We needn't have worried. The new menu was great. The vegetarian starter options were divine, stuffed mushrooms and the fabulous "Mumbai street food" were fantastic. The tandoori was great, not covered in the red colour paste, but subtle, tender and delicious.
A new main of whole tandoori snapper was sensational, the butter chicken delicate and juicy, the Aloo Gobi soft and flavoursome. The cheese nan absolutely full of rich cheese and the garlic nan yellow with Ghee and garlic. We will definitely be more regular now.

My husband and I are very fussy and particular when it comes to Indian food as we've eaten at a number of Indian restaurants in Sydney. We dined in on a Wednesday evening and ordered the $27pp banquet, however, asked for the curries to be medium hot rather than mild.
The service was polite and attentive. While reading the menu we were given complementary pappadums with mint yoghurt which was a pleasant surprise, very rarely do you get freebies in this day and age!
The tables are nicely set with white table cloths and fabric napkins although the décor is a little dated but don't let that turn you off. I can honestly say, the butter chicken was the best I've ever eaten. It was so good, my husband ordered a second serving. We are thrilled to have found a good Indian Restaurant in the Hills area. We'll definitely be back!

Great food, excellent friendly service. The atmosphere is a bit ordinary, but nothing that an interior decorator couldn't fix. Overall lovely food.

The food was excellent. Staff was very friendly and the place had a homely atmosphere. We will definitely be back. They had this lamb dish as a special. It was delicious and we are looking forward to the new menu.

Staff are definitely friendly and seem to get to know their regulars well. The tasting plates are a good idea. As far as the food goes, it was nice but far from the best indian we have had. Keep in mind we only eat Indian several times a year as it is not our favourite cuisine. It was nice but not great and I have had better.

Having sampled a number of Indian restaurants over the years, we have a fair idea of what we like and don't like. And we were impressed with this one. The meal we are discussing here is the $32.50 banquet, served on a Saturday evening.
The food was impressive, each dish maintaining its distinctive flavours, but without overwhelming intrusion. Spicy where it needed to be spicy, sweet where is needed to be sweet, sour where it was warranted. Beautifully balanced food, probably exemplified in the samosas, which knitted together fabulous texture with perfect serving temperature with firm outer coasting and lightly-spiced-and-aromatic filling.
It was hard to find fault with the food. Perhaps, some of the beef was a little dry, but it is a minor bone to pick. Food was in abundance (we never even got to dessert or coffee) and flavoursome. A healthy portion of rice and garlic and plain naan arrived with the banquet to remind us of the importance of delicious sauces that ought not be disregarded.
Ambience was not too bad for an Indian restaurant. Decor was not to overwhelming or heavy, though lighting was a little too dull and the air con could have been made to work a little harder. Chairs were wonderfully comfortable, if a little firm.
One oddity was the presence of 'Magic Dan', a budding young trickster who made brief appearances at most of the tables to distract guests with simple card tricks and sleight-of-hand amusements. I'm not sure how many 15-year-old magicians are routinely employed in Indian restaurants, but he was a welcome, if slightly out-of-place, addition to the atmosphere. Nice to see someone in this tried-and-tested end of the restaurant market trying something a little different. Kids will love Magic Dan.
The service was warm and welcoming. The restaurant was probably about 1/3 full, so we didn't get to test it at capacity. At some points I felt the staff were maybe a little overbearing and eager for approval, but they were so pleasant to deal with that it is a minor trifle.
The whole experience represented wonderful value for money to us. We'll be back. When we couldn't stomach any more food, they even offered to pack in a dessert for us for the road. Smiling faces, capable chefs, respectable decor, comfy chairs, and Magic Dan. You can't ask for much more!
