Sadly, this appears to be the only business providing kebabs in this area of the North Shore. What a disappointment! I consider myself a Kebab expert and what was served to me was nothing short of inedible. Rough old meat, limp salad, overcooked and poorly wrapped bread served in a dodgy paper package. Couldn't even get through 1/3 of it before throwing it in the bin.

I wish somebody from Roseville through to Gordon would open a real Lebanese cuisine eatery that serves something the area is crying out for. Overall, Yuk, avoid at all costs, I will never be back.

Could do with a radical makeover inside. Best falafel wraps ever. They make the falafel while you wait. Hommus and tabouli are made on site. Very lovely people and amazing value. I discovered this place after seeing it in the SMH Good Food Guide, it thoroughly deserves to be listed.

In terms of proper authentic Lebanese food then this is up there. Tabouli and Hummus are superb here as are the shish kebab rolls. It's a take away style place so don't expect any great romantic dining setting but the food is the big winner here.

I really enjoyed the food here. I have grown up eating lebanese food and I thought that this place was unpretentious (the way I like my dining experience) and really tasty, made with fresh ingredients. The decor is lacking but the taste made up for it.

Arax is one of the only authentic lebanese vendors in the area and one of Lindfields oldest establishments. Sadly I feel it has dropped the ball and given up.
The management have lost the passion and have become grouchy. I have been on and off customer at Joes Arax for over 10 years now but on my last visit and I emphasise Last I received hostile treatment from the senior staffs.

I was told my order was not worth giving a table to and that my guest and I should eat outside. Ok Fair enough I only wanted to spend $25 but why should that mean I'm not table worthy on a slow old wednesday night, the Thai across the street serve you two mains for $25 and are always happy for my business. Also this isn't a 3 hat restaurant I'm talking about here its just a simple takeaway/cafe.

But this isn't the first time this has happened though, I have witnessed the kitchen staff aggressively order patrons out of his restaurant on multiple occasions. Also the restaurant is rundown, has grime on the walls, the bathrooms are filthy and they don't take eftpos or visa which I think are all warning signs.
