Nice place with good variety of dishes catered for Chinese people. Fresh seafood at affordable prices. Get good value here in a no frills setting.

I've been a faithful customer to Jade City ever since it opened and I must say, even after all these years, the quality of the food and service have never diminished. The food is always served in generous amounts, the customer service is superb and I love the complimentary desserts and fruit that they offer after every meal. The seafood is lovely too and there are some special offers for lobsters, crabs and fish from Monday-Thursday.
Just a warning though, the restaurant tends to become quite packed on the weekends, so if you're looking for a quiet dinner with friends, family or even a loved one, I recommend going on weeknights instead.

The food is amazing, big serves, and freshly cooked. The owner and his waitress are always happy to serve you, rushing around the restaurant. The bathrooms are always clean. Love the complimentary fruit served after the meal. I go back as often as I can. Only complaint is that the tables are quite close together, but once you're tucking into dinner none of that matter.

There was a bug in our vegetable dish, rather than offering a replacement, the ?owner said that is normal for Chinese veges. Never going again.

Been there a couple of times and never been disappointed. The seafood is always very fresh. The owner is very friendly and provides high-quality service. My favourite dish is the fillet steak in chinese style.

Worst meal I have had. Extremely upset at the quality of the food. Might sound like I am over reacting, however this is the first time I have complained and did so because the few simple dishes such as Mongolian lamb etc. were so far from the real flavours it was just strange. The meat was very dry and the sauce possessed no flavour and the little flavour it did have was actually quite unpleasant.
Don't understand where these other reviews may have come from unless there has been a change in the chef. Not worth a visit unless you want to be bitterly disappointed.

Very tasty. Owner is friendly and assists with the recommendation of food. Good quality. Chilly/salt prawns are wonderful as is the mudcrab.
