We love going to this place, it is very kids friendly and they have a really good children's menu. The choice is extensive and I always found the food good, generous and well priced.
Mind you they get busy at times, specially on weekends, best to book.
I ate here a couple weeks ago with two friends, we will not be returning! The seafood platter was tiny and had sun-dried tomatoes which had gone bad, this was sent back. The Pizza's were average, the gluten free pizza was thick and soggy. The service was inattentive, mains took 40 minutes to arrive and staff were apathetic to our complaint about the expired food which had been served to us. To top it off it is very overpriced for what it is. Hard to imagine that this place has won awards?
Great food - can be a bit slow if they are busy, and very squashy ... they work on the principle of how close the chairs can be without anyone sitting in them !!!
Everything about this place was great, I had dinner with a friend and tried one of the gluten free pizza's. The portion size was generous and tasted amazing. The service was friendly and always helpful. I would always recommend the Ironbark.
Really great ambience, a balmy night, the smell of a woodfire, good friends creamy pasta and a relaxed atmosphere great excellent place for families to eat.
Pizza and pasta are average. They also have other specials which we tried, they should stick to the pizza. It was understaffed and the service was slow. And it was overpriced. Bit of a shame. Won't return.
