My partner and I shared an antipasto platter which was described as a mix of hot and cold items. The only "warm" thing was some crumbed prawns. We ordered the chicken dish and the veal dish for mains which were beautifully presented. What we found to be ridiculous price was $9.50 for a rocket and parmesan salad which we noticed after we had ordered it.
The total came to $90 for the two of us and all we really came for was a quick meal before the movies. Maybe we might come back for the pizzas as they looked really good but skip the "restaurant" part of the mix. The ambience is lacking because of the fluro lights from the kitchen and the glare from the tv above the bar.
Sensational food, great service and a very comforting place to eat. We had a complimentary Mascarpone Pizza at the end for dessert which was unbelievable. Full marks!
Definitely a must place to eat. The special home made pasta with fresh crab was divine. The service is quick and very freindly with nothing too much trouble for the guys (who are all very cute).
Sorry guys! but ANOTHER italian/restaurant/cafe pizzeria.
Food is WAY TO expensive for what is it! simple food with nothing special! The location is poor, the prices are HUGE and don't even try the pizza so fin they are! and this for 20$. Only 10 minutes away from Surry Hills It's not worth it!
Visited Insieme on opening and many times since, always greeted with a smile and excellent service. The waiting staff knows the menu and always what's on special, nothing is ever too much trouble.
Have tried the thin based pizzas which are perfect and the fish of day is usually to die for. "The little chef" is cute as well!
Poor excuse for ANOTHER Italian wannabe restaurant/cafe/pizzeria!! Sorry guys, good for the unsuspecting locals who don't really know Italian Food. Friendly service, but food is overall bland and a waste of seemingly fresh produce. Not for me.
I had a pasta here and my friend had a chicken dish. The flavours were very nice and the food was also fresh (I had seafood). We also had a pizza bread, however, it was very oily and the taste was lacking. We also found it difficult to cut and the pieces were rather large. I felt that the wait staff knew their menu and food very well. They provided fantastic service. Overall I enjoyed my dining experience. I would definitely go back and try out the pizzas!
Was told about this place by a friend and decided to check it out myself. Was impressed as soon as we walked in. The service was friendly and very helpful. The four of us had pizzas and they were absolutly delicious.
I travelled Italy two years ago and these pizzas are as close as you'll get to those traditional ones. The selection of wines avaliable by the glass was also amazing. Great place guys and it has become a regular for us.
Was very impressed with authentic pizza made in woodfire oven. Was not a heavy pizza and could be eaten as a meal accompanied by an impressive salad. My friend had the linguine with crab, she was also very impressed.
Our kids were not disappointed with their nutella pizzas either for dessert. Service was friendly and atmosphere was most pleasant. Would recommend to anyone who like their food!!
