I visited this restaurant and had the Pho. As expected it was a bit more expensive than stores out of the CBD ($14.90 dine in). The serving size was good. The Pho was fairly average, but I still enjoyed it, but I was disappointed there was no bean sprouts like you get at most Vietnamese restaurants. The dining area (cafe style) was quite spacious though, and it was nice sitting near the window.
I found the service to be good. For value in the city it was okay, but I wish the food (particularly meat in the Pho) was a little better. I would go back and try another dish though to see if the others are better than the Pho.

Glad we booked as it was packed, but that's a good sign. As others noted, the tables are very close together, so it's not the place for in depth business or personal talk. We both had the crispy skinned chicken salad and it was great.
Would definitely return.

The noodle soups are great here - even better than at the more traditional Vietnamese restaurants you find in Marrickville or Bankstown. Would also recommend the spring roll and rice vermicelli salad. Prices are a bit expensive - but you're paying for the ambience and the quality of the food as well.

1st review, 14/3/08: Delicious Vietnamese food. A little pricey for city lunch time fare but you pay for the quality of the food, the serving, and the ambience. Service is perfunctory (given the lunch time crowds), it would've been nice to have a bit more water but we had to be contented with our glass - it was too busy to catch the attention of a waiter!
I loved my lemongrass chicken vermicelli. Warning: Place is usually packed by 12:45pm!
Update - 2nd review 16/1/09: Had the lemongrass chicken vermicelli ($14.90) - excellent and delicious! My friend had the pho ($15.90) which was a bit smaller in portion but also very satisfying. Yet again service is brief, most likely as the place was packed out (lots of people waiting when we left at 1:15pm). Also you are crammed in very close to your neighbours so this is not the place for intimate conversations!

I've had much more delicous and authentic Vietnamese food for the price but I suppose you have to take into consideration its location (prime CBD real estate) and the ambience, which is clean and comfortable (you don't have to battle for a table/seat and can book in advance). The presentation of the food is also not bad.

Quite good Vietnamese food (whether it be pho or rice noodles) though pricier. You pay for the better ambience I suppose.

Very nice place to sit with friends and have a bite. It's a pity though the food doesn't really match up. We were 5 of us down there for lunch and ordered 3 different curries - 1 veg, 1 chicken, 1 prawn. But the curry was the exact same for all three. Quite a disappointment really. Have had pho there before and it was ok. Have had better Vietnamese for much less a price.

I come here for lunch at least once a week, particularly for their prawn noodle soup which is a Thurs and Fri special. Yes, you'll find better and cheaper Vietnamese, but not around this part of town. The room is lovely, it's good for groups and you can grab a glass of wine with your meal.

Great for work lunches but quite expensive for Vietnamese - for example Pho is $13.80 but that is to be expected for this end of town. Serving sizes are good.
The entrees and meals are nice but nothing spectacular. Service is not the best when the lunch crowd comes in.
So standard fare but a pleasant experience.

Great food. Most staff are friendly but not quite expensive for Vietnamese fare.
