My husband and I have now tried a take-away meal and recently a sit down meal at this wonderful Indian restaurant. Our take-away meal included the crispest, lightest and most scrumptious vegetable samosas I can remember. The fish tikka was very good and the vegetable korma yummy. We swore we'd come back asap for a meal at this establishment.

The first thing you notice when you ask for a table is the friendly and attentive staff. The glasses of cold water were at our table almost before we had sat down. We started with sharing the Onion Bhajia which were lovely and served with a sweetish mint sauce.

Then we moved on to sharing a Mango Chicken and Baigan Patyala which is a potato and eggplant dish. The butter naan was perfect for soaking up the little bits of sauce left on our plates. The portions aren't huge but I'd any day go for quality over quantity.

Had a very difficult time understanding the waitress. It took me 25 minutes to finally understand what she was saying , turned out to be- "What would you like?" Apart from that, all in all a pretty great night out by myself.

Highly recomended. A great neighbourhood curry house with a friendly atmosphere. The food tasted original, flavoursome, and filling. Quality ingredients and cooked to perfection. The service was effiecent and friendly and very prompt. I would definitely go again.

Been coming to Indian Kitchen for ages, absolutely love the place, the food n the ambience n of course our favourite 'The good looking Harry', who has been looking after us all these years with his pleasant manners. Don't change a thing guys. We'll be back soon. Cheers.

Being local, this is our go-to place for Indian. On the whole, their food is of a really good quality, however, due to a couple of not-so-great dishes, our menu now has markings all over it to help us stay on the 'great' side of the equation.

I'd probably recommend steering clear of the seekh kebab, I've had them twice and both times they were dry. For us, the good/great ones are chicken tikka, madras beef, butter chicken and the naan.

Service has always been of a high standard, and value is Ok.

We have been coming here for almost 10 years, I can't believe it has been that long. The food here is delicious, the restaurant is cosy and the service is friendly and efficient. The only downside to this place is the tables are really crammed in and sometimes there isn't much room to move between the tables.

We love the Dhansak, Sagawala, Dhaal, naan and the mango lassi. The mharaja's platter for the entree is also awesome, we can't decide if we prefer the little lamb cutlets or the tandoori chicken, even the spring rolls are great. I think I'll have to order home dellivery for dinner, writing this is making my mouth water.

Best Curry I have found outside UK. Onion Bhajis are excellent as well as the dansak and Butter Chicken. Still not the msssive menus you find in the UK but all dishes tasty.

I love Indian Kitchen. The name is perfect as it truly represents great indian food, and a great indian atmosphere. The ambience of the restaurant is rated a little lower because it is a little tight, and can be loud when the place is busy, but other than that I think the service is great (the waiter that can be found there every day is lovely) and the taste of the food is what matters at the end of the day.

Let me put it this way, I have yet to find a place that rivals the Indian Kitchen, with the exception of an Indian restaurant in London (and we can't afford to go back there more than once a year at least, so Indian Kitchen is number 1 until we find another that matches its flavour and service in Sydney).

I have to say, I love this place! this is my husband and my sweetheart place, where we have a lovely nite, the best food ever, gorgeous waiting staff and lovely lovely owners. I'm sure that there has been a change of ownership but nothing changes that food. Wow! Its small, intimate and Yummo! and I'm a fuss pot, so go and do yourselves a favour, love you guys!
