I have dined here several times - and I shall keep returning because of the terrific ambience and the great food. Service has always been good and I have found the staff very friendly and helpful. Food is delightful. Coffee is great. Excellent place on a sunny day, although on cooler days they enclose the restaurant and have space heaters to keep everyone comfortable. On Sundays they appear to have live music and some of it is outstanding (went there one day and found James Morrison playing with a group of young jazz musicians).

Only eaten here once and enjoyed the meal. But that is not why I am writing this review.

This is without question my favourite coffee stop. With a handy side bar attached for people keen to grab a takeaway coffee, you are never waiting for long for service. Campos coffee is served which I believe to be one of the best available. Their regular barista (bald guy) is friendly and knows how to make a great coffee.

From the time the senior staff served us with the attitude of "who cares" to the time we offered criticism that the breakfast was very ordinary he just didn't care (he said you should have complained earlier and we should have) about customer service. The eggs were cold, the toast was a wrong order and took forever to get to us, we knew there were better places in Mona Vale to give our money to!

Inch has become a little gem on the Peninsula I think. Nice relaxed space and lovely, tasty food makes for a good venue. Was there in March and again yesterday (June) for a private function. Nice place to wile away the hours eating and drinking. They have Campos coffee also.

We used a "Living Social" voucher for breakfast at the inch cafe. The food was really nice and well worth the price paid for the voucher - however I felt a bit deceived as only one pancake came out instead of the 3 pancakes in the picture/advertisement. Probably if you weren't using a voucher you would get 3 pancakes.

I've been wanting to eat here for a while. I like the location, set back from the streets and overlooking the park. But I was very disappointed by the antipasto plate today. The small serve of prosciutto was too thick-cut, flavourless and dry, much of it was inedible with a texture more like beef jerky. Missing from my meal was the salami and hummus, per the menu description. Disappointing. Doubt I'll be back.

I believe there is a new chef on board here and I was very impressed with the breakfast I had a few weeks back. Also been for cocktails and will be back. Pleasant and efficient service and good value for money.

My husband and I had dinner here last Saturday. Although the menu is limited, the food was absolutely delicious and made with love by a very talented Italian chef who obviously knows what he is doing. The Pork Belly pizza was to die for, honey roasted and quinoa salad and chilli prawns with pasta, I just didn't want it to end. The staff were wonderful and the service second to none. I'm definitely going back!

I dined her for lunch yesterday with my husband. The food took so long to come out I thought it would never arrive. I can’t remember the last time I waited this long at a restaurant or café. I ordered the grilled calamari salad as I thought this would be a refreshing change from salt and pepper calamari, which seems to be the only way people want to do calamari these days. Unfortunately, it was not cooked properly. Almost raw and tasted very fishy.

I advised the waiter who took my plate and returned with it a few minutes later. This time it was bordering on over cooked and still had the fishy taste. It was so bad I had to very ungracefully spit it into my napkin for the second time. Now there is only one reason I can think of for calamari to have this kind of taste!

My husband had some kind of toasted flatbread sandwich with ham and bocconcini. There was nothing outstanding or inspiring about it, but it was fine. He also mentioned that the coffee was great.

When the waitress came to collect our plates, she inquired if there was a problem with mine as it was untouched. I told her the problem and why I could not eat it. When we went to the counter to pay, they had removed the salad from the bill. I would not have asked them to do so but I think it is only fair as my dish was definitely not edible. It also appreciate them not making a fuss about it and taking it upon themselves to remove the item.
