Excellent, excellent, excellent. Freshest food ever and so tasty. Staff very friendly every time. Very popular within our local area. A real hit with our children also.
Great value for quality Japanese. We loved the food, Teppan Steak, BBQ Beef, Honey Wasabi Salmon really tasty and fresh Sashimi, salad dressing wonderful. Staff are very friendly. Highly recommend this restaurant and will go back again soon.
If I could give negatives, I would. Very disappointed with this restaurant posing as authentic Japanese cuisine. I've eaten my fair share of Japanese food to know that this was not authentic, particularly the use of Chinese vegetables in a curry which was diluted and bland. Not to mention all the other dishes which were also bland, and the tempura where we bit into raw batter.
Will never venture here again, and would advise anyone who has never been and thinking of going - don't do it! It's not worth the time or money. You can get much cheaper and better Japanese food elsewhere in Sydney.
The tofu, pancake, tempura and sashimi was good, but the udon, Gyoza, beef teriyaki and the rice was below average. Nice big size serving, however, don't think I would return as overall it's was average with no special dishes.
We took a 35 minutes drive to try this restaurant, based on the reviews. The decor and service was very average (eg. We asked for water and received one glass of water) and the food was good but no better than we could get at our local Japanese restaurant. Sushi and sashimi was standard fare. Tempura batter was a bit thick. Salt and pepper squid was great.
We have eaten here a few times and were impressed each time to be remembered by the staff. They were lovely and it was really child friendly for my 2 year old. The food was also very nice excellent california rolls and fresh sushi, beef sticks were a favorite as was the teriyaki and the gyoza was loverly too. I will definitely return.
Overall a great spot for good quality and value japanese. Also a range of options for non sushi eaters. My favourite is the agashe tofu and the udon seafood.
Took the family last Saturday night (Mum, Dad, 13yo, 11yo). It's obviously a family friendly venue, all but two of the 10-12 tables had children. Service was fine given that the place went from empty to full winthin about 30 minutes.
Food was good with not a skerrick left on any of the plates, trays, boxes... Japanese seems to be a favourite with a lot of young people at the moment. We'll defnitely give it another go.
