Great food and service. It's really hard to find an authentic Japanese restaurant in the Southern Suburbs. This is the St. George area's little gem.
My family and I regularly order: Soft Shell Crab, Vegatable Tempura, Chicken Teriyaki Set/Don, Chicken Kastu Set/Don, Sashimi.
All the food is excellent and very filling. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this restaurant to any Japanese Cuisine Connoisseur.

We are regulars at Inaka. No matter how busy the place gets, the service is always very good. Rebecca the owner also goes to great lengths to ensure the kids are happy and even offers some specials for them. The food is always fresh and the menu diverse. Very good value for money.

We ordered banquet for two with sashimi entree. I definitely agree with review by Timmi. Tuna and Salmon steaks were chunky and not sliced (bad knife skills). The steak and chicken are "Chinese" style and if you listen carefully, they speak "Chinese." Salad was iceberg lettuce with a strip of cucumber and dressing. Miso was way too salty, probably instant. You can get better "authentic" Japanese for the $56 we paid.

I have returned to Inaka on many occasions and have grown to know the owner. Yes, they are understaffed, but it is hard to find another gem of a restaurant in this part of the town with the quality of food they produce. Book early to beat the dinner rush!

Booked for a Saturday night dinner and the place was packed out (good sign) but alas the service fell poorly because of this. Our meals did not come out all together, hence my partners dish went cold while he waited for mine to come out. When my food finally did arrive, it did not come together with my rice & miso. I had to flag down the wait staff, and after another 20 mins, did I finally get my meal. I also asked them to bring us water to the table, but she only gave us 1 glass to share between 2 people? In the end, asking for another glass of water was a lost cause, so I ordered a soft drink which was quickly brought to table. Would I come back? Well, maybe on a weeknight, or if I'm having a really early dinner.

A lovely, friendly Japanese restaurant with great food and top value. Takeaway is best as the place can get crowded easily. Our family has now started to dine regularly and the standard has stayed high. Not the most sophisticated Japanese but food with soul and substance none the less.

We have been going to Inaka's for the last 10 years. Great food and very accommodating with the kids. This is the closest to the many little Japanese restaurants I visited in Japan with very fresh, tasty food not just Sushi and Rebecca and Sam make everybody welcome.

Friendly staff and a pleasant restaurant which offers good value for money. Would be a good choice for trying japanese and sushi for the first time in a relaxed setting. Quite popular and well established.

Went there for the first time Saturday night and it was packed. Servers were run off their feet but still managed to do a good job. Had the dinner box for about $20 and I thought it was really good value. Others with us enjoyed their meal too. It is maybe not 100% authentic Japanese but the portions are generous and the price is right. I'd go back for sure.

Not authentic Japanese. Soy Sauce wasn't japanese, way too salty. We ordered sashimi Main (~$19) - only Tuna and Salmon, tuna wasn't fresh, fish was chopped into large chunks not sliced. Seafood salad (~$9)/ as above fish with 1 prawn some avocados and seaweed and dressing.
Beef teriyaki was chinese style stir fry, wasn't thick soy sauce more like just runny soy sauce and it wasn't sweet. Rice wasn't japanese rice, XD and too soft. More like japanese cooked in chinese style.
