Its got a great location and great view of the beach. That's it. Food looks great but cooked way too salty. Expensive too. $17 for a smaller than average pad see ew. Service is poor too. Inattentive staff. Such a disappointment.

I like most of the food very much, only problem was that there was very little of it on the plates. The chicken skewers with peanut sauce was 4 tiny chicken fillet with an even tinier doll's dish filled with satay sauce. The seafood Talao plate was very tasty but had only 3 prawns, 3 NZ mussels and some baby octopus on a bed of lettuce and green beans and that was $30! The BBQ beef was very dry - it cried out for some marinade or sauce. The winner for me was the fried fish hotpot, it was absolutely delicious. Would I go back again... no, sorry, too expensive for Thai and stingy serves of food.

We had our first month wedding anniversary here tonight (married on 29 May!). It was freezing cold tonight and when I booked over the phone I asked for a cozy table for 2. There was a heater right next to our table which was nice! My husband ordered the Tom Yum soup with chicken. I tried it and it was so good that I then ordered it also. We had the roast duck and the prawns in creamy basil for mains and both were very well presented and the taste was fresh and flavoursome.

I would recommend this restaurant to others and we will definitely go back. It is a sister restaurant to ThaiRiffic which is one of our favourite Newtown restaurants.

As Brighton Le Sands locals, this restaurant is terribly disappointing. Aesthetically it is a pleasing restaurant and the food looks good. The food, however, is terrible. I ordered the marinated lamb cutlets and my wife the King Prawns in a basil cocounut sauce.

Firstly my cutlets were bbq'd to within an inch of their lives. All I could taste was charred meat and ash! I thought things would be better with my wifes meal as it presented so nicely. We were disappointed to find that the prawns were frozen and just thrown onto the grill. They were tough as nails.

With so many Thai restaurants in Brighton, we recommend you avoid this one and try elsewhere for much better and cheaper food. Avoid.

Went to this place on a saturday afternoon, there were 4 of us without a booking, it was not very busy for lunch. I had the pad see yiew with tofu, it was nice, and something to fill you up on the cheap (lunch special). My partner had the beef cashew nut it was also okay, pretty average and the others had a curry and a soup.

This place is good for a cheap bite on the run but don't expect anything wow really, you get what you pay for, all in all our experience was a good one. Would go back for a bite if I was in the mood for thai at brighton as there aren't any other thai restaurants within this area.

We ordered home delivery. Very disappointing. Food was delivered quickly but quality and taste of food was not the best. Spring rolls and satay chicken were placed in the same container. Marinade Chicken wings did not look like chicken wings and certainly did not taste like them. Overall I would not buy Thai from this place again.

Decided to try out this new thai restaurant for mum's birthday lunch and we had a ball. Stayed untill three in the afternoon.

We booked for 10 at lunchtime and arrived to find our table perfectly set and windowside. We had some friends arrive about 40 minutes late but the staff did not mind at all, bringing us an ice bucket for our wine. (In regards to the review below, I have never had my wine poured for me at a thai restaurant, so it was not unusual for me that they didn't do that here.)

When everyone arrived we all ordered. We ordered two mixed entrees as well as a variety of mains and instructed it all to be brought out at the same time. The entrees got there very quickly, but the mains arrived all at different times which was disappointing. I think the time between the first and last mains served was at least 15 minutes.

The food was very well presented, the soup helpings were massive, the tom yum was served in what looked like a clay pot the size of my head! The beef salad was excellently seasoned but the drawback was that it was entirely too hot (And this is coming from a chilli fanatic! It was hard to enjoy all the flavours when my mouth was burning off). The bbq octopus was a little tough, the bbq marinated beef was beautiful, lime leaves and pepper king prawns were delicious and even though there was only 3 prawns, those prawns were massive.

The winning dish was the Talay Pao which (even though the octopus was still a little tough) was a fantastic array of beautiful seafood. The coffee was a little burnt, but the desserts were delicious, the mango dish and the berry pancakes were lovely.

The service was fine, they were attentive and left you alone when you wanted to be. They did get a little lax with drinks when the place was chockers at about 2 pm, but when we asked for our Moet to be brought out the whole bottle appeared. Which was a plus!

This place is great for families and large groups. If you love your thai very very hot this is the place for you. Don't expect too much in the way of super attentive service but the ambience makes up for it being in one of the best locations in Brighton le Sands, and the water views are worth it.

Food - pretty good but expensive and 3 prawns in a dish for 4 people! Bad - charged 10% surcharge on NYE, why its against the law and its not a public holiday or a Sunday, staff don't cost extra that day.

Very bad, I gave them 2 btls of Grand vintage Moet (1996 and 2000 vintage) when I got there and asked them to put one on ice and one in the fridge. A while later the champagne hadn't come so I asked for it. Same girl bought 1 out with noice bucket, opened it and left me to pour it. We finished our meal to go and watch fireworks so I asked for the other bottle of champagne that was in the fridge as we were leaving. They couldn't find it, then found it behind the counter in an ice bucket with a couple of glasses gone out of it.

They tried to give this back to me and insisted that we had drunk what was gone. It never made it to our table! The girl had delivered it to the wrong table obviously and then taken it back behind the counter when she couldn't remember who it belonged to. However, the girl lied about it to her boss, letting her boss believe we were lying and had drunk it.

The boss would then not believe me that it was an expensive champagne ($120) and did not want to compensate us as they insisted that we drank it! Did not understand what we were saying had happened and believed her lying staff over us. Then they told us not to return, not that we ever will. Very bitter end (and expensive end) to what was otherwise a decent meal.
