I had yum cha with a group here last week and it was above average I'd say. It can be a bit hit and miss though from past experiences. Last night I shared a Peking Duck with a mate and they were generous with the pancakes - 12 in total. I found it good, they mainly serve the skin only without any meat (some prefer meat - I don't mind both but if you want it crunchy, then skin alone is best).

The skin was crispy though seemed like there was quite a lot of extra oil on it and I liked the pancakes though my friend found some of them a bit doughy. For the 2nd course, they made noodles with the duck meat, there was a lot of duck and not so much noodles but tasted good anyway.

Service was fairly friendly although they did warn us that the duck would take 45 minutes since we didn't prebook it. Never realised I had to but it didn't actually take that long. Felt like it was less than half an hour but they weren't busy so take note in case you want to order it.

Ambience in the restaurant is fairly nice with large windows right across but there's not much to see at night.

First time yum cha at this place, and pretty sure the last! We normally head to China Town in the city, but decided to try this place out on the way to the airport. While the service was friendly, the same can't be said about the food!

I've tried both the yum cha and dinner, and I can say both are amazing! They have one of the best Peking Duck around Sydney. The mango pancakes are a must have dessert, if you are going for yum cha. The waiters speak good English and are very accommodating. Best of all, the drinks are set at RSL prices, which makes it a great place for office parties.

I like the fact you can eat yum cha in the suburbs and it's comparable in quality and value to the big city joints like marigold and east ocean. You also don't get the huge hustle and bustle and wait like you do in town either. If you want a civilized experience and don't want to trek far, this place is a great alternative for weekend yum cha.

Reasonable quality of food for yum cha. Once you have secured a table, you don't wait long and the foods keep on coming. The service was friendly enough with lots of smiles so unfamiliar in asian eateries. The restaurant is large with somewhat of an outlook, however, I still felt cramped especially when the trolleys bumped my chair a few times. I will return here for yum cha.

We had dinner here last saturday night. We started with seafood san choy bow, excellent. We then had salt and pepper whitebait, imperial pork spare ribs and a dish called chinamans hat, it was recommended by the waiter as something different. It was a mixture of braised chicken with noodles, a huge selection of vegies and a fried egg mixture on top, delicious. The service was fast and friendly, with value for money.

Although not as authentic as Peking Duck in Beijing certainly one of the best peking duck in Sydney. We ordered the 3 course duck set with the stir fry noodles and the soup. Great value.

I really love this place. Have been going her for 15 years since I was a kid. Overall the food over the years have been very consistent but that could be because they know us because we frequent this place so much. Love the Mongolian lamb on the sizzling plate. The fried rice is the best out of Chinatown. So many things I love about this place. The waiters are fast and friendly and always accommodating. Yum cha is good here too. Love the coconut jelly and as always the pork buns. Worth trying if you don't feel like battling the traffic to get into the city.

We came here for dinner. The food surpassed my expectation. We ordered Peking Duck, they were generous with the portion of the duck skin and most importantly it was fairly crispy. Spare Ribs with Chinkiang Black Vinegar was superb! I am not a huge fan of pork but I did ate quite a few pieces of pork ribs. We ordered a noodle dish and it was good as well. I will be back to try more dishes. The service was superb, waitstaff was very attentive and the manager kept the kids happy by giving them a lollipop each.

I've been here around 10 times and I can say it is generally good. There have been the odd time that it hasn't been up to the usual, such as the har gow and steamed prawn rice noodle (har cheung) tasting of stale prawns. Portions are fair and served hot. The prices are slightly more expensive than Chinatown, but the parking across the road is so convenient, that it is worthwhile. The servers all can speak English - yippee!
