This has got to be one of the WORST restaurants I've ever been to! For the prices they are charging, the food is definitely not up to scratch, and neither was the service. We went there for a friend's birthday, and had a table on the patio. You'd think that there would be sufficient shading for the afternoon sun, assuming the restaurant would not put a table there without considering the comforts of its patrons but no, and we had to sit there with our sunglasses and had to use the menus to block out the sun until it had set!

The food was equally disappointing. My friends who ordered the ribs said it was ok, nothing to rave about. The ones who ordered the steak said the same thing. I ordered the kangaroo, as did 2 of my friends. Theirs came cooked to the specifications (medium rare), while I asked for medium rare as well, mine was definitely medium, and some parts, medium well. When I pointed this out to the waiter, he was reluctant to take it back to the kitchen at first.

After I had showed him by cutting up some of the meat, he finally agreed to take it back. After a couple of minutes, he came back with another plate (with the meat portion significantly smaller than my original plate), and told me the chef had said that my original plate was cooked to medium rare, and that the lights at the table may have made it look more cooked than it was??!!

The stupid comment aside, the waiter was not at all friendly, almost accused me of causing trouble! I know for a fact that the chef has the capacity to cook it right, as my friends' orders were fine, so I really don't understand what the underhanded comment was about! I dine out a lot, and grew up in restaurants, and that kind of snobby attitude to customers is definitely not acceptable.

We paid at least 70 per head, and it was one of the truly disappointing dining experiences: food terrible, ambience terrible, service rude, value is definitely not there! The only reason I rated 1 for everything is because there's not zeros!

Went to dinner with a group of 8 on Sat night, service was very poor for both food and drinks. Food was of a good standard once received however the services spoilt the dining experience including poor excuses from staff.

Will not return including other diners.

Visited I'm Angus to try the Grill & Seafood Platter, which was well worth it - very good meal. The decor is great, staff were fantastic. Thoroughly enjoyed.

Best steak house in Sydney hands down. I have been a regular patron for over 3 years, the experience has always been top notch. Location is nice but as being in Darling Harbour always lots of people about. Inside and out dining available, summer time it can get uncomfortably hot in the sun. Service can be slow at times, but most of the time always quick and always really friendly.

Food here is the best, I have had everything on the menu but the oysters. Some of the fav dishes are, Baby Barramundi, Ribs, Rib Eye Steak, Angus Pie, this is the best pie ever. Served in a dish with a puff pastry top, the steak pieces inside are big and the guiness sauce is awesome. I'm getting hungry thinking about it. A great place for couples or large groups.

Our group of four visited on a Saturday night. The service was very good and the food delicious. We booked for 7 pm and didn't have to wait when we arrived. We were seated straight away and our orders were taken shortly after that. My only complaint would have to be, that as the restaurant got busier the service got much slower. This was around 9 pm when we were trying to order our desserts, although once ordered the desserts arrived quickly. It was a beautiful night with great food. I will definitely be returning.

Absolutely terrible service - we waited well over an hour for our food. We asked a number of wait staff what the delay was, but they never actually came back to tell us after supposedly going to find out, or even apologised for the wait. Once it arrived, the food was OK, but we were in such a hurry because we were going on to something else, that we couldn't appreciate it. All in all, we won't be going back there and wouldn't recommend anyone else to go there either.

We visited this place on Saturday night and were very impressed. We had walked past many times on our way to other restaurants and never had been keen to visit but, we will definitely return. The food was quite good value considering the location of the restaurant and the full rack of ribs were so big they were hanging off the side of the plate.

The service was very friendly and non intrusive, though efficient. They only down side to the night was when it rained. We had to move tables inside as the gaps in the awnings provide insufficient shelter from the rain. This really needs to be addressed, but it still didn't dampen a good night overall.

Came here on a wet Saturday night for an intimate dinner with my boy. At seven, there was a queue for tables, and thankfully, we had booked, so were shown to our table which had the best view. We noted that there was a queue all night long - it is certainly a popular choice along the Cockle Bay wharf!

We ordered the platter for two which had mini mignons, kangaroo kebabs, prawns, oysters, etc. It was definitely a nice mix of seafood and meat, and was what we thought good value for $80. There was a lot of food on the platter - so much so that we didn't finish everything!

Service was fantastic - we had a courteous and charming waiter, and although we had no complaints, we were sitting next to a table of two who had complaints aplenty ranging from how long it took their water to get to them, sending back their steaks, etc and the waiters were nothing but courteous and pleasant with them. I thought the service was exemplary in that regard.

It's a nice venue, with good views, and fantastic food and service. Will definitely come here again, and I recommend it for others - but please note to book!

Absolutely fantastic!!! Right from the word go, the wait staff were brilliant. I went with a friend and as there were only 2 of us we needed no reservation. They were kind enough to offer an indoor table as it was quite windy outside! Our waitress was beautiful and couldn't do enough for us! The steak was to die for and the mushroom sauce was divine!!! Will definitely go back again without hesitation.
