The best child-friendly & family restaurant around. We eat here at least once a month. Service is quick, staff is very good, food is typical Italian food of good quality & servings. There is an enclosed games room at the back of the restaurant for the kids to play in, this allows time for the adults to have a little chat without the kids.
If you go here make sure it's a thursday, friday or saturday otherwise you'll be disappointed. The good chefs/pizza makers work that night and are on song constantly. The food is authentic and FRESH!
The place is huge and open generally full of families so be prepared for a loud night. Desserts are not the greatest just simple stuff from a wholesaler and some simple home made stuff like mascarpone but then again I don't go here for dessert.
Pizzas..Well what can I say but yummo! woodfired (one of few that still uses wood rather than gas in the backend) admittedly it is gas assisted but they still use wood to burn.
We are regulars and love the staff, service, and most of all the food. Best pizza's outside of Italy if you ask me! Woodfire oven baked the way I like. The desserts are dreamy too, I Love the marscapone, it's just perfect! The prices are also very reasonable.
We have been regulars here for years. Outside of Napoli, this is the most authentic pizza you'll get in Sydney! I knew I was in for a treat when I saw The salsicce and broccoli on the menu, have not seen outside of Naples. Kids love the game room, so take some coins to keep them entertained. Its loud and very family/group orientated but very much like the pizzerias overseas.
Same goes with the service, they are doing YOU the favour after all (thats how the Italians think) but I love that too because its very nostalgic and reminds me of my trips to Italy. Recently the Pasta with carciofi (artichoke) was delicious and absolutely cannot leave without Nutella Pizza for dessert. Buonissimo!!
Has a really nice night here, the restaurant was very full and the kitchen very busy. The nice waiter informed us that we would have to wait a long time if we wanted to get anything from the kitchen but that it wouldn't take long if we just wanted pizzas so obviously we went for pizzas and they came within 15 minutes. They have interesting toppings for example the zuchini flower pizza was very yummy. And they don't even charge corkage! I'll definitely be coming back.
They do this in the south of Italy-large halls with chairs and tables and attempt to give you service. The pizza is mostly good, not my pick of the bunch but my friends and their 15 children love it.
Food was bland! Service was one of the worst I've had from any place I've been! Cold atmosphere. Over rated and over priced! Better places to try in the area.
There was a group ready for some authentic Italian. It was my birthday and I chose the restaurant as it was close to our home and open on a Sunday and seemingly well priced. Unfortunately, it was a large barn, fabulous if you have kids and don't mind the noise.
We started with Rucola Salad and Garlic Bread (3 baguette slices = $3.00), my main was Veal Parmigiana, the only way to describe it was bland. My husband had Lasagne, it was tasty. My friends really didn't offer any critique on the food, which really is a bad sign for my friends. Most of the desserts were finished for the day, so we only had a couple of choices, creme brulee/gelato/tiramisu. I would not return to this restaurant, Why? Cos life is too short!
