The best Italian food I have ever tasted. Great pizza and pasta. $28 was a bit too much for 6 pieces of ravioli. Tiramisu is great value for such a huge piece. We were sitting outside and found it hard to flag down the waitress. I had to wave 5 minutes to get a refill of water. But the food was so good I will definitely go back again.

Great find! Came here a few months back and was pleasantly surprised. Lovely food, good service and great atmosphere. Returned on Saturday with a group of 12 and it was even better. Everyone loved their meal. service was prompt and friendly. A great night out. Highly recommended!

Had high hopes of this place, however, left disappointed and won't be back.
Booking for 7.30 and arrived to find that the party of four that I had booked for was sat at a table for 6 that had wine glasses for 5 with knives and forks on the table for about 8.

Waited about 15 minutes until the server arrived after being flagged down to take our orders. Lucky our wine has screw top otherwise we would have been waiting a long time for that to be opened.

I find it a bit rich to charge corkage for four people although there was only 2 of us drinking. The Osso Bucco was tasteless and charging around $30 and my husband had the veal and broccolini which were very small pieces and around $30. To pay $200 for four people for 2 entrees, 4 mains and 2 desserts in my opinion is quite a lot of money.

Ah look, great food, good prices, lovely service, what else do you need really. The pesto was so fresh as well. Ordered too much, took it home, everybody's happy.

Had dinner here on Saturday night. The menu looked promising but getting someone to take our order to actually taste some food took over 1/2 hr. Food was okay but there is better Italian elsewhere. We had a 6 month old in a pram and there was plenty of room which was great. The downside is the acoustics in the room made it extremely difficult to hear each other by about 8pm. Doubt we'll go again.

It's really nice to live in the neighborhood with a restaurant like this place. The food is very good and very fresh and the service is nice and friendly. I have ordered pizzas for delivery several times, but always ended up walking to this place to pick them up because then you can get a 10% discount. So far everything I've tried is of good quality.

We often have the urge to write an review after dining at a good eatery, but often life is too busy for us to even get near but we must do it for II Grappolo, it deserves our time. We were there for lunch today, the food was outstanding for its reasonable price. We had six dishes and they were all presented well & tasty. We highly recommended the tagliatelle al Ragù di Carne and the Quattro Formaggi, they are killers. The environment is very children friendly. We will definitely go again.

The prices are relatively high for what is really a local Italian restaurant, mostly frequented by local residents living in the apartments nearby. The prices, however, are justified by the quality and freshness of the ingredients (hence, the 8 instead of a 7). I can say the veal dishes are extremely tender and presented cleanly and accompanied by just the right amount of vegetables/salad. Pasta is made fresh.

The mains are of a high standard, and to go there simply for the pizza would be doing the young-ish chef there some injustice. I have tried the pizza which is very good but not as good as say Rosso Pomodoro (if you're in to the traditional italian style of pizza..i.e. thin which minimal toppings) ....still you won't be disappointed in any case (thin but just enough bite in the base). A small list of desserts made in the kitchen are consistently good, Pannacotta with strawberry coulis (it was obvious to see the strawberry sauce was also made fresh) was a perfect way to end what was a very good meal.

Ambience is ok, nothing really special about it, except sitting outside beside the vines would be pleasant in summer rather than indoors. The service is good and reliable but typically Italian. The reviews giving marks of 9 and 10 in all categories are unrealistic but it certainly deserves a high score. I waited until this 3rd visit before writing a review to confirm that the high standard is consistent. It's a very good local Italian restaurant that deserves to succeed.

I'm a regular customer of this pizzeria. I never tried the main but the pizza is very nice. Now to eat a real italian pizza (I'm Italian I can recognize a good one) we don't have to go to Haberfield! The staff is very nice, but only one of them take the order for the food so is better to go when is not very busy. Very nice during summer with all the tables outside. The only thing that disappointed me is that they don't make "macchiato" at the italian style any more (in little cups instead of glass).

My partner and I have been to Il Grappolo many times since it changed hands and we love it. My partner is Italian born and raised (Milan) and is normally very critical of pizza outside of Italy, but we have always had very good meals here. The prosciutto and roquette pizza is a stand-out.

The ambience of the place is a pleasant local restaurant. The only criticism I have of the decor is the tv behind the bar which is totally out of character with the rest of the place, but then again I noticed this kind of thing constantly in my travels through Italy, so, perhaps, it only makes the place more authentic! Highly recommended, a real gem to have within walking distance!
