We went here midweek with a LivingSocial voucher. Great value, service was no lesser because we had a voucher, and it had a nice relaxed vibe. Slighlty more upmarket decor than others in Haberfield, so nice for a couple's nights out. But the best was the food, fantastic handmade pasta, delicious wood fired pizzas. We loved it, and would be back.

I love Il Goloso! Child friendly and my husband and I were very amazed. Pizza are fantastic and we will be back and My husband is a rep of good living and we give it a 9 out of ten!

We had a really nice mid week dinner here. It was quiet and the staff were really attentive. The food nice for the price which we paid and they had the standard pasta dishes as well as some more unusual ones which was nice. We'll be back.

Food was great we were served very quickly, wine list extensive. We really enjoyed the entree's grilled octopus and cold meats and cheese platter. Definitely will be back.

Very noisy ambience. Chairs are wooden and seemed very fragile. We were careful not to move around too much.

Definitely do not order the grill seafood platter, not worth waiting 30 minutes for a measly small platter. At $80-00 you get 4 under cooked prawns, the 8 mussels (not fresh). 2 chewy squids, 2 very small fish (lots of bones), half a small crab. A huge disappointment. They do, however, make a great garlic bread. The winelist is mediocre. Ended up ordering beer and water.

Service here is not what I expected. We had a table of 5 and it took 20 minutes for a waiter to take our order. Living in the Chatswood area we usually come to Haberfield or Leichhardt for good pizza on the weekend so we do our rounds in Pizzeria's. The food is mediocre, nothing special, pizza was standard, its just another italian restaurant. However, its quite ok.

A lot of the below reviews ring true. Ambience very loud, chairs rickety (like every one of them), service really good and food a bit hit and miss.

Had a quick and late dinner with the wife on a Friday night, given the time, we were attended to really well and everything happened quickly. Share a special calamari that was ok and two pizza's that were pretty good. Tough competition around for pizza's but they were ok.

Wine list is terrible so had two beers, if you want wine, definitely BYO. Friendly and efficient service so it was a fairly good experience. Don't expect fire works though!

Had a pleasant evening here. Food is pretty standard. The pizza base is great, but the toppings let it down. The highlight for us, foodwise, was the tiramisu.
Their service staff are very attentive and on the ball, and even without our Entertainment Book voucher the place is good value.

Been going for years but things seemed to have changed a bit and not for the better, used a voucher and got attitude for it, wasn't allowed to change the entree, even though it was the same price, and when I said no whitebait, out came the whitebait all over the plate! Asked for the left over pizza to be wrapped up for take away, they threw it out instead! who does that? not happy and after years, won't be going back!

Had dinner here on the weekend. The waiters were friendly and accommodating, however, it did take a while for the pizzas to be served. The pizzas were standard as was the wine list. Make sure you BYO. We had kids with us which didn't seem to be a problem at all and we felt quite comfortable having them there as they are very kid friendly. Yes the restaurant is loud, however, as one reviewer mentioned, it adds to ambience. Great Nutella pizza for dessert and good coffee. Would return for another family night out. The kids loved it.
