We walked past this restaurant too many times on the way to other Chinese restaurants in the centre. Finally we decided to pop in for a Japanese meal after seeing it very busy throughout the week and especially on Saturdays.

This place is more Japanese with a few Korean dishes. So delicious! The chef/owner does not use MSG and makes all his own stocks for his ramen and udon from scratch. You can tell their quality by the wonderful miso soup, not a packet style, nor watery, instead a true flavour and hearty with miso.

Udon - yum, teriyaki chicken was juicy and abundant.
Soba - perfectly cooked soba noodles, fresh vegies, not overcooked, still bright in colour, good serving.
Teriyaki Fish special - again great serving and not overly sweet, instead a natural teriyaki sauce.
Seaweed and tofu salad - fresh and lots of goodness.
Vegetable Spring Rolls - so good. Probably one of the better vegie spring rolls with a variety of vegies, not just bean sprouts.
Bento box - lunch and dinner - excellent quality and enough for 2 people. The sushi were not small dry ones, instead succulent delicious sushi rolls. Sashimi included in the Bento box were fresh large pieces, again not like frozen small rectangle ones you sometimes receive in bento specials.

Everything is cooked with care from the chef/owner and you can tell he really takes pride in his cuisine. Dessert - 3 scoops of green tea ice cream is so generous and great value.

Service is friendly, smiley and very attentive. Make sure you check the Specials. Offers takeaway sushi and salads.

A great healthy option for the area and even for Sydney. We've been to so many similar restaurants around town. This place definitely ranks amongst the highest with excellent value.
