The first place I wanted to hit was Icebergs, as the ocean view had been nice last time. This time it was stormy enough that from the walkway you could watch waves crash against the side of the pool area. Inside I ordered some sort of trout dish and enjoyed a glass of wine while I waited. I was lured into the gambling room eventually and quickly made myself five bucks. As I cashed out, my buzzer went off for my dish. The fish was sprinkled with pepper and served with a hefty side salad, which I felt made it a well balanced meal. Overall, I was satisfied with my experience here as my winning offset the cost of the meal and being inside beat being out in the rain.

Food was well below average for a fine dining restaurant. Not very good value for money. Very disappointing and overrated.

Great views but it doesn't make up for the food. The place has gone downhill food-wise and the decor could do with updating.

We had a chicken broth which looked like it had egg or something curdled through it - the favours were there but who wants to eat something that resembles vomit? The carpaccio was over seasoned and was way too salty and the risotto was nothing special - have made better risotto myself. The yellow fin tuna was bland and lacklustre. It almost felt like the apprentice chef or dish hand had prepared our meals

On the upside, the views are great and the staff are attentive and polite. And they forgot to charge us for a bottle of wine.

Won't be back as the food doesn't live up to the prices.

I was there last night with 3 others for a 50th. Great view, lovely furniture and delicious cocktails. The food was good, however, for the price, I expected better. Sea urchin pasta was the highlight of the night. The letdown was the service and the restrooms.

Service - wine was topped up way too high and one of the waiters knocked down one of the wine glasses and there was no real apology or "compensation" from management. Very disappointed with the level of service. Restrooms - only 2 cubicles for the ladies, no paper napkins, hand-dryer was faulty. Not the standard I would expect from a fine-dining restaurant.

I recently dined here with a few girlfriends for a special lunch. I was So disappointed. What a waste of a beautiful location. The food was very average, bland, unimaginative, and overpriced. Icebergs' only redeeming feature was its excellent, friendly service. I will never go back again!

They really need to get someone with Customer Service skills to answer the phone for reservations. I'm not sure if they think they own the restaurant but they definitely talk down to you. I have called at least 20 times to make reservations for work over the past two years and I find each person rude. I actually cringe at the thought of having to call!

The food is amazing but beware if your plan on having any alcoholic beverages. Before you know it you will be out of pocket hundreds of dollars.

What a wonderful location. So pleasant to sit and what the surfers come in. I'm not sure you can get a better spot.

The spanner crab with polenta for entree was wonderful. Great flavours. I loved the lemon oil on it. I also had the rib eye which was cooked to perfection and delicious. Sides were great. The peas with basil, lemon and feta were my favourite. We also had the broccolini, fries and spinach. We shared desserts.
A nice selection of wines. Prices were high however.

Absolutely overpriced. $59 for a steak and $28 for a small entree is way over the top. Then to have to pay $9-11 for sides. We really enjoyed ourselves but it is too expensive I think.

Service was good but we had to follow up where our tables was whilst at the bar. It then took a while to get our order taken and then we weren't left alone.
Our bench seat was quite tatty and stained. Not up to the job when teamed with the prices.

Prime location overlooking the sea while dining. Candle light + quiet – absolutely my thing.

Service is great. Attentive and courteous staffs. Food is fine but not outstanding. Nothing here had impressed me.

Overall, it is a nice place to be if you would like to enjoy a romantic time. There are certainly alternatives if you are a foodie.

I went there twice in the last month. It was very dark inside the restaurant and hard to read the menu or see what you are eating. Two diners ordered chocolate pudding and one broke in the kitchen and had to be re-done. Second time I went, they had a mistake on the wine menu, didn't bring the wine ($110 bottle) to the table when our food was served and provided only a fork to eat risotto and side vegetables with.

Overall, lacking in attention to detail, food was nice but not outstanding and wine list was expensive. Had to also be out by a specified time so we couldn't have the dessert of our choice. Don't think I'll be going back again.

Nice location. Good table service. The kitchen takes soooo long between courses, to the point where table staff make apologies. To list the vegetables that would be normally be on the plate with meat or fish as "sides" and charge for it at an entree price is a turn off. The wine list is extensive but over priced to a degree that makes you feel like you are being taken for a ride.

We won't be going back. Not going back.
