Decided to try out this place on a friday night when us girls were craving for spanish. the flamenco entertainment also caught our eyes. The service was friendly. The table was rather small for 4 of us (more suitable for 2 people) with sangria, water and tapas to fit.

We had summer salad, the bbq octopus, chorizo, grilled eggplant, asparagus, garlic prawns and paella. All the tapas were tasty but not overly special. The paella was the real let down of the night. the rice was soggy. There wasn't any seafood or herb flavour.

The entertainment turned out to be a whole lot of stomping by two female dancers. It was funny to watch when they got some people up there to dance with them. very loud as expected though. Overall, it was enjoyable night.

I went to this restaurant with a Groupon voucher. I called in advance to book a table for two, and the person on the phone was very helpful. Our waiter was very diligent and attended to our wines and water very quickly. We were served chorizo sausages, patatas bravas, garlic prawns and salad. These were very yummy and I was surprised by how quickly everything came out.

Although, one of our meals, which looked to be battered sardines, came out much later and by then we had almost finished our meals. It was then very odd to eat sardines by themselves, especially when they were a bit underdone and not crispy.

We ordered extra, on top of our vouchers as we were still a bit peckish (portion sizes are hard to decide when it's tapas). We ordered bruschetta, olives and mozzarella filled red peppers. The bruschetta looked like a tomato chutney on bread and the olives were nothing special. I definitely think the voucher took advantage of their best meals.

Overall, I think this place is worth trying out. It looks to be the place that would be great for groups. The walls are interestingly decorated and the staff are very attentive. In terms of quality of food, I think for the most part, Iberico has decent spanish tapas but nothing surprising.
