It doesn't matter when I go to I Thai on Ramsay - the food is always fresh and wonderful; the service is always warm and efficient; the atmosphere is always clean and understated in a way that means you're not being bombarded by "other". Take away or sit down, one person or more, this is well worth the visit. Thai as it should be - yummo!

I dined here again with a couple of friends yesterday and we found the new owners and staff to be very efficient. We ordered mainly from the blackboard menu as we usually do and our dishes arrived in good time even though there was a table of fourteen also being looked after.

All in all I found the restaurant to be every bit as good as it was under the previous ownership. Easy parking and excellent food.

If you want freshly cooked Thai which has been cooked just right (ie, not overdone in oil or sauces, nor dry due to early preparation), this is the place to come. The service is always friendly, warm, welcoming and attentive and the space is open, light and not too noisy or cluttered. This is one of the best Thai joints in Sydney and well, well worth a visit!

Went to Ithai on friday night with some family friends. New senior staffs and staff are ridiculous. Each of our entrees came out 15 minutes after the other. Our mains came out 40 minutes after we had ordered and people who had come in an hour after us already had their food served. I do not like the service at all, most of the waiters/waitresses do not even speak good english. I had ordered a serving of duck rolls and the waitress didn't even write it down after I had said it three times.

I am disappointed because the old senior staffs, were much better at dealing with these sorts of problems, there wasn't even that many problems to deal with, with them. I will not be returning here. Overall, in my opinion, the food has changed, even though there are still the same chefs, their food tastes different.

I didn't like the food at all, it tasted re-heated. I definitely won't go back there.

We arrived at this restaurant having made a booking earlier in the week. We were sat at a clearly unreserved table by the door. We asked to be moved away from the door and we were. We sat down at our table at 7.30 pm, we ordered by 7.45 pm. We had our entrees around 8.10. At 8.20, approx 40 minutes after we ordered we were told that there was no more Massaman Beef left. No explanation was given for why we weren't told earlier, it had been 40 minutes since we'd ordered.

Our mains arrived at 8.50, over an hour after we had ordered them, with no apology or explanation given for the shoddy and slow service. People who were sat and ordered after us were served their food well ahead of us. The waiting staff felt no explanation was necessary, because at no stage were we apologised to.
After we had started our mains. Two men entered and sat near us. They would have arrived at about 9 pm. They were served their food by 9.15 pm. I'm curious to know why the service was so erratic.

On the upside, the food was delicious, but not worth that long a wait. I would have been happier if someone had bothered to explain the delay to us. But no one staff seemed to think it was an issue enough to bother communicating with us about our wait. Will not go back, which is a pity because the food was good.

We lives in Harberfeild and we got the Take away menu from last week. Usaully we order at Fivedock Restaurant and then we try to order. And we got take away from here. The tubs were half full with very little meat in Stir frys and we were very disappointed such as no tests. Having said that, the food that was there was really tasty. What a shame. Value for money was definitely bad.

This was our first visit to Thai on Ramsey being from this area I found the rice very dry with small servings, not much meat in the curries. I did though enjoy the rice noodles we ordered. We were seated outside and did not get much service until we flagged some down. If you want people back please increase your dishes and review your table service.

I am a Haberfield local and we frequent and order from here pretty much on a weekly basis. Such great service, great food and great delivery service for those nights you want to stay in. Such a wonderful lovely couple running the restaurant. We order quite a variety of things and that's good considering I'm really fussy with food and thai in general.
