Was so excited to attend Hurricanes Top Ryde as I had heard so much about this Restaurant. Left slightly on the disappointed side.

Overall: Staff were very friendly. Restaurant was decorated nicely and enjoyed the table and chairs.

Ate - ribs served with chips. Decent sized ribs, not enough of a good offering of chips. No joke had 11 chips all hidden under the ribs. Sauce is horrible, tastes like bbq sauce. It drains your food especially my chips, and soon all you can taste is the sauce. Definitely a turn off. Left not so satisfied, sorry.

Overall pretty good. This place is a machine. I had the ribs here but wasn't a big fan of their special Sauce. The portions are pretty huge though so I didn't leave hungry.

When you are paying $22 for a hamburger you expect something really special.
Whilst I was hoping for something really special did it prevail, no it didn't.
This joint is a rip-off plain and simple. Go back to pub food immediately, there is no need to visit Hurricanes as both steaks and burgers are better at your local pub!

Hurricanes is a casual family style licensed grill. It's often crowded and can be noisy. If you can't abide by children and noise I highly recommend visiting Hurricane's express a few doors up and getting takeaway to eat on Bondi beach.

The burgers are enormous and delicious. Burgers start at around $15. All come with chips or a baked potato but as the burger is so big you probably wont need them. Ribs and other menu items are also available. This place is a regular for me, especially in summer.

Came here for the first time on a late saturday afternoon just before dinner time. We arrived and was seated outside but only had 1.5 hours as there was already a reservation for the table.

We ordered a full rack of beef ribs to share between two. My partner and I enjoyed the first couple of pieces. We found the sauce to be very nice but the meat a bit chewy. By the time we got to our 3-4 meat, we were pretty sick of it. I think it would've probably been better for us to order half a rack and a salad instead. The fries with the ribs were nice, but nothing special.

Service was really friendly and attentive. However, i was told the next day by a friend that you should get complimentary bread with your meal, which we didn't receive so i'm pretty peeved about that. Especially when I remember seeing them bringing out some breads to a few tables. Not happy!

All in all, price wise for 2 drinks, a full rack and extra sauce came to no more than $55. Which is okay for dining in the city. I'd probably try the pork rib next time at the bondi store.

I have heard about these 'famous' pork ribs which is the most popular dish there, and apparently is what most people come here for. So thought I would go and try this dish for myself! and the ribs were delicious and so tasty. The portions are massive! Great view nice atmosphere. Well flavored, well cooked, and well presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved it!

It's pretty hard to find someone in Sydney who make fantastic pork spare ribs. So after talking to a few people and friends about my love for pork spare ribs, one or two people mentioned Hurricane's. I have to say I was very very disappointed with their pork spare ribs the first time I tried them. But I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back again to give them another go. Again I was very very disappointed.

Their spare ribs had no flavour and the second time they were a bit burnt. I gave the ribs a rating of 3, as at least I didn't get sick from eating them. But if you are after fantastic pork spare ribs, give Hurricane's a miss.

Have been here a handful of times because one of my friend's always has a cravings for their ribs but in my opinion they're very mediocre. This place has great ambience, its very relaxed and busy so making a booking is a must - the drinks are great and having a bra whilst patrons wait are a good way to relax the nerves and unwind after a busy day.

The ribs came out rather cold, not even room temperature, but they were indeed cooked well evenly, the other mains we shared were just the same, nothing screamed fantastic nor was any of them a let-down. Such good reviews but the times I've been, well it wasn't that great.
