If you want a cheap, good meal then this is the place. The food is very good and plenty of it. Service is fast and efficient. Staff very friendly and it is value for money. Well worth a visit. I go regularly to this restaurant.

A regular with me. The lemongrass chill and squid and chicken pho is best in Sydney. Love it. What it lacks in ambience with makes up for in down to earth value.

Trekked here after being turned down from a booked out local Thai favourite on a Tuesday night. Living in the Eastern Suburbs, the food is similar in price and quality to the vast number of eateries on Anzac Parade in Kingsford and Kensington. Had the rice papers rolls which were freshly made, sizzling beef and lemongrass and chilli chicken. The chicken was good, although it was deep fried. The beef was so garlicky, good if you are set to spend a night amongst vampires. Good for a new experience, although I wouldn't travel back to Marrickville just to dine here.

Top value, top food, quick service. Great place for a quick good cheap feed.
(must try their 'lemongrass chilli chicken').

This was absolutey disgusting! We had raw meat that seemed as though it had been chewed before! I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone.

I am from a Vietnamese background and I am appalled by the service. Heading to marrickville for a quiet family dinner, I did not expect much. But to my dismay, I was not prepared for such a disappoinment. The service received from the proprietor was beyond appalling, she was such an inept character and seemed more interested on what the other waiters were doing rather then a group of 7 waiting to be served.

We literally sat down on the table no longer than 5 minutes and was rushed to order, despite the fact it was not busy and we were the largest table. However, to add to this the food was the down fall of the evening. Combination stir fry on a bed of crispy noodle which was warm and the sauce had soaked into the noodles making it taste like soggy biscuits. The vegetables in the stir fry were raw and we were given the stalks of a bok choy which made us pick at our teeth for the strings of raw vegetables, the crispy skin chicken was half cooked and drenched in a sweet sour sauce which could have been drank as soup with it's loose texture despite the dishes name 'crispy', the calamari which in my opinion coming from a hospitality background is not a difficult dish to prepare or at least season after it's batter, for some unknown reason a very dominating and overwhelming sweet taste of sugar drowns the spices and garlic, the beef cubes were over cooked and shriveled to less than bite size pieces.

This will most definitely be the last time I dine in such a poor managed restaurant with unskilled and unknowledgeable chefs. But, on the lighter side the waitress who brought the food out was prompt and attentive.

I have loved this place for years. The service is quick, they are super friendly and you know what you are getting. But the food has become so bland over the last couple of years. I hope they bring back the spice soon as it all just tastes the same right now. Also the prices have been creeping up slowly so that now some dishes are up to the $18 mark, not a cheap night out for viet in Marrickville anymore.

This is restaurant is fantastic. The food is always fresh and well cooked. Service is quick and to the point. It's not fancy but you are guaranteed a tasty meal. Bring a bottle of wine and remember to have cash on you.

Food is always fresh and service is quick. Great restaurant for after work meals or with kids, don't be put off by the pink walls. All the photos on the wall are done by the owner and the staff are always friendly. The selection of food is excellent with the regular beef, chicken, prawns to the more exotic crocodile and emu.

The lemongrass chilli sqiud is fab along with the peking ribs. There is no comparison in the area for quality of food and value for money, we paid $114.00 for 6 adults incl corkage and we were stuffed! How could you beat that?!
