Rude, arrogant, inexperienced, poor staff service. Are you serious? Not good and not to recommend it to anyone. Pizza's are average. Thank you?

Great pizzas! average service - way too much want to be if could be's. Very much a scenery crowd, people watching good value. If I didn't love the pizzas so much I wouldn't go back. Very rude and arrogant senior staffs.

Drinks - wine list was very limited indeed, almost disappinting in terms of its variety and choices.

Ambience - this reflects a pub rather than a resturant.

Service - our waiter was excellent and very friendly. But you also on occasion get the younger less experienced waiter that just tries to fill your glass without consultation regardless of whether in fact your even drinking what he or she is pouring.

Value - the food was excellent I have to say, but I think I would have felt better parting with my hard earned, if the other areas had been a bit better.

My husband and I had an amazing night at Hugo's on Saturday night. We eat out regularly and very rarely eat at what we would consider to be "trendy" restaurants" as our track record with them seems to be "Trendy venue, terrible food".

This is definitely not the case here. The service was great as we began our dinner at 5.30-6pm when there were very few diners. The waiter chatted to us casually and was able to make recommendations. I don’t think would have been the case at about 8pm when we were leaving as the place was completely packed and the waiters were all very busy. The starters were amazing and the pizza and pasta we selected were seasoned perfectly. The ingredients all worked amazingly together.

I would recommend this place in a second. The layout of the restaurant allows those who wish to have a quiet meal with their partner or family to do so, but those who wish to be in the bar scene to have amazing food in a relaxing social environment. You wont be disappointed.

Went there last night for the first time. Service was really poor. Waitresses not smiley at all. Appetizers were good but pizza were just average. We were a group of 25 people. Didn't get to chose our pizza, which is fine and so shared them all. They brought the pizzas almost all at once ! but to share so no room on the table, way too much food and by the time we had finished one, another one was cold. I felt pressured into eating. Not a good thing at a restaurant. The bill was $50 and apparently they asked another $160 tip on top of that. Will definitely never go back nor recommend it to anyone.

I organised a party at Hugo's and whilst I was happy to go with just a door list. Hugo's function people organised a reserved area, a free cocktail per guest and two rounds of pizzas. The service was very professional, organised and welcoming. Had it not been my birthday I still say $5 for a wide variety of pizzas is excellent value in anyones terms.

I would definitely recommend it. Whilst I can see some of the reviews are complaining about getting in. I acknowledge it probably is difficult to get in after 9 pm on a Saturday night, but as a guy that rule applies to many other clubs as well. So can't single Hugo's out for that.

Bad food and ok cocktails we had to wait 20 minutes to get in on Friday night and that was the first and last time I’ll visit this place.

While the $5 pizzas are great value, the actual pizza's are average, what do you want for $5! There is a door chick at the front, we call her Carrot Top, yes red hair, she should not be working in a place like this, and she has absolutely no people skills.

We apparently booked a table at Hugo's for 8.30pm for 2 girls and 2 guys. When we arrived, Carrot Top wouldn't let us in saying that we had to be members! We did tell her that we had a table booked, but she shut down and didn't know what else to say! "Um, ah, you’re not coming in; sorry members only, go across the street". Are you serious?? Don't take bookings for dinner then and refer people downstairs. Yep, I think they should stick to being a nightclub.
