I have been a frequent customer of The House of Pie for over 15 years. I still believe they have the best Pies in Sydney. Over 30 flavours to choose from and they are open 24/7. My personal fave is the plain pie w/ mushy peas, mashed potato and Gravy!

Rude Service at times, good value pie though. Worth going back despite the service. To be fair its not always horrendous service, but needs a bit or work. 24 hr pie shop is a winning combo.

The pies and sweets have always been great but a more recently updated shop with nice coffee, new cabinets and interior and some healthy additions have made it unbeatable. Open 24 hrs is great they are always willing to help you with last minute party food and cakes and the prices are great compared with their competitors.

Have recently updated the place and it looks great. Introducing nice coffee and new cakes and pies, everything is alot nicer and it was already good to start with. Heard there are more surprises still to come, can't wait.

Came here to buy coffee and pies, Don't buy coffee from here, the worst I have ever had, I spat it straight out, absolutely terrible. Chicken and vegie pie was average and the beef and vegie was better but nothing special. Absolutely terrible service, no one gave a hoot in the place, and the onions in the cold bar looked like they were cut one month ago.

Will Never go back, also very unorganised and dirty behind the counter. Don't know how businesses like this survive. Unbelievable.

Pies are ok, slightly better than average? I normally have the Curry Pie with Mash, Peas and Gravy. Pretty satisfying meal but their cakes always look a bit dodgy to me.

Finally! A place in Sydney with some value. They were voted in 2004 as the best pies in Sydney, and I still think they are. The food is fantastic, and very good value for money. A pie and sausage roll always does the job. The staff are not that friendly, which usually does turn me away from a place, but the pies keep bringing me back.

My suggestion is to grab a pie and a drink late at night and drive down to La Parouse and enjoy the ocean view and the view of the docks. (when the docks lights are all on its actually a good view).

I've eaten from House of Pie on many occasions and I've found that while their food can be good, they're not consistent. One time I bought cheese and bacon rolls from them, I didn't see what they looked like until I got to work. They were burnt to charcoal. I returned them and got my money back, but no sorry. I got the impression the old woman serving me was well aware they weren't eatable and just didn't care.

Also if you go in there first thing in the morning in the summer months their front display cabinet has alot of flies in it. Very off putting.

Open 24/7 what more could you ask! Been here often esp during cold winter nights after work, has been great. They have a large variety of pies to choose from as well as pastries such as apple charlotte. Loved the cheese and bacon pie along with cheese and mushroom and many others that I've forgotten.

Great food and service at a good price. Open 24 hours. My favourites are chicken and vegetable pie, pea pie and their vanilla slices.
