After reading Hothi's review online, we decided to sample this local eatery for lunch today. The restaurant is casual but very clean, and the decor is simple. The food on display looked very fresh, and there was no skin on the food as is sometimes seen in takeaway style restaurants where food has been left to sit.
The naan bread was light and fluffy, with the cheese naan being the stand out flavour. This place is great in terms of value for money - especially if you're a uni student. We got 2 small meat curries, 1 small vegetable curry, 2 lassis, 2 naan bread and 1 medium rice for only $30! This is so cheap considering we have enough left over food to last for dinner tonight and lunch tomorrow! Service was reserved but friendly.
The only thing that we would have liked more of was more heat in the vindaloo dishes - they were more medium heat than hot.

Pretty decent for your average take away joint. Got a small rice, small meat curry and a cheese naan for under $10.. good value. Friendly service and the food displayed didn't look like it was sitting out for ages. My only problem is that it's not open on a Sunday.. What is with that??

Yummy food. Usually pretty quiet which is good. I agree it is fast food style but it is better than normal fast food. It is very problem free.

Went there considering the past reviews, and it wasnt that great. The food was on display which was great, but the quality was what you would expect from your average fast food Indian from a shopping centre. Does not rate to the other indian restaurants on the same street, but to be fair it is fast food, not a restaurant. There service was good though.

Food displayed under counter so you know what you are getting. Olso provide free water just in case it gets a little too hot.

Have been going to Hothi's for 10 years now; they practically fed me when I was at uni. Food is still of excellent standard, ambience is nice and relaxing. Service has slided a little.

Hothi's is one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The food is true class. Not to mention the service, very friendly attitude and atmosphere. Highly recommended. Best value for money and the food is very authentic, and very good size servings. I will definitely be going back!

Best Curry I have ever had! Been to a lot of other Curry places but this seems to be the best I have found! Service is great as well as the food! This is a must for curry lovers out there! Well done!
