This place blew us away - we have long avoided it in out treks up and down Enmore Rd / Kings St. Not any more - excellent value, and the food is probably better than any Thai we've had in the area. Check it out!

This is the best Thai I've had in the Inner West. The staff is extremely friendly. Not the best place if you're looking for atmosphere, but can't really be helped and won't keep me from going back again and again. Great take away place and super quick to get food out, even special orders. I would highly recommend the spicy pumpkin dish, it is delicious!

I tried the KKT, Keow teoy and it tasted better than I expected but the portion looked a little small. The mixed entree though was disappointing, the curry puff and the money bag had lots of corn kernels and peas in it, which didn't suit me.
Service was reasonably quick but it is a small place and big groups look elsewhere, you wouldn't be able to fit!!

For cheap, good quality Thai in the Enmore and Newtown area, you can't beat Hot and Spicy. My partner and I have been long time locals and have eaten at most every Thai place on Enmore Rd and King St and we continue to go back to Hot and Spicy. They never let you down on quality. I have never had a bad bit of meat from this place, which is certainly more than I can say for a lot of Thai places.

The food is always delicious, and as mentioned in kimili's review the pumpkin dishes are awesome. The restaurant doesn't provide a great deal in the way of atmosphere or ambience, but that in no way detracts from the quality of their food. Service has always been fast and friendly. We will happily continue to be loyal patrons of this little gem.

I love the pumpkin dishes - tasty pumpkin is a great vegie meal while the spicy pumpkin with minced chicken is awesome. I've been here many times and the food is always fresh and tasty, served quickly and with a smile. It's one of the stand-out Thai places in the area.

Dropped in with a group of 6 before a gig at the Enmore on a tuesday night. The place was empty which is sometimes a bit frightening but we were well looked after. Fairly standard Thai fair - nothing unusual or outrageous but it was fast, cheap, tasty and plenty of it. Recommended for a quick bite before a show at the Enmore - it's right next door!
