Great food great service. Kids loved it as did my parents inlaw. Shan Dong chicken and crispy beef with peking sauce divine! Definitely be back.

Not my best experience - unpleasant odour at front desk area - kitchen curtained off from main dining area with smells and sounds too close for comfort, run down look and feel, seafood tank covered in algae. Kids not made to feel welcome and food just OK but 70's feel to the whole thing.

Wonderful front of house staff. Very attentive wait staff. Food was on the bland side, perhaps this was related to what we ordered. We had the peking lamb with mandarin pancakes for entree. The pancakes were floury and like little burritos, not at all appetising. Chicken in ginger and shallots with fried rice both of which were bland.

Great Chinese, the place itself could do with a bit of a make over but the food is excellent as is the service and value. Generous serves, very tasty, far better than your average Chinese. We will definitely be back I think this is the best Chinese I have had for some time!!

This restaurant is one of the best specialising in good old traditional chinese dishes such as San Dong Chicken and Sizzling Garlic Prawns. The service is extremely attentive and quick and the value is also fabulous for the quality (and quantity) of the dishes. A must-go restaurant!

Externally it looks like any suburban Chinese restaurant - 1970s decor, small fishtank, white tablecloths, cardboard boxes on the floor, the phone continually ringing to order takeaways, a multipage menu of the standard offerings etc etc.

A few interesting house specials - and all menu items freshly cooked with just that little extra touch spice-wise etc. Great for a group get-together. Average wine and beer selection, but that's immaterial.

The food is good and the size of the dishes is decent for the price, and the service was also quite fast and friendly. I do agree that the restaurant could do with a bit of a makeover though, but I still think it's one of the best Chinese restaurants in the area.

In my opinion, it may be one of the best restaurant in Sydney. The food is yummy especially the "special chili sauce". And also, the service is perfect, the waiters are efficient and polite. I strongly recommend this restaurant to you guys.

I have only visited here once recently but left with mixed feelings. On the one hand, the service was outstandingly attentive, courteous and efficient - better than you'd get at many upmarket restaurants. On the other hand, the food was mediocre.

The san choi bau was rather bland and oddly slimy (a bit too keen with the cornstarch maybe). We also mistakenly ordered two fried fish dishes for our mains, but ignoring this fact they were not great and quite heavy on the MSG too. As has already been pointed out, this is very Westernised Chinese food.

The decor is rather dated. Having cardboard boxes with whatever inside them sitting around the entrance, while sending a reassuring message of casualness, is still not a good look by anyone's standards.
