I eat breakfast here semi-regularly. The food is decent and not badly priced, although they have jacked the prices up since I first started going and the quality of food has not improved along with the price-rise. Still not too bad though, service is always ok and the outside seats are great on a sunny day.

When we first got here we just wanted a quick coffee, after waiting about 15 minutes with staff running past ignoring us we thought it must have been counter service, so my partner went and ordered coffees at the counter. The minute he did I then had 3 worried looking staff surround me asking to take my order. I explained we were just getting coffee and this seemed to confuse and annoy them, not sure why as it was about 3pm and the place was hardly packed.
After our coffees, a bottle of water was plunked on our table and it started to downpour outside so we decided to stay in and order a snack, we wanted the pumpkin soup and the waiter looked really distressed as she told us there was none left, no biggie we got fish and chips, this again seemed to confuse our waiter even more. While eating our meal, we watched way too many staff stand around looking confused and customers waiting for takeaway stand around for almost half an hour, also looking confused.
When we went to pay we were asked what we wanted to eat. The food was ok I guess but the entire place just seemed confused and busy despite being overrun with staff, I can’t figure out if the staff were too attentive or didn’t care at all.

The food here is really good, but the servings aren't that big, and the wine is a bit exy.
