Dined with a large table of friends recently after deliberation over which Thai restaurant to patron, as there are 3 on the same block! Service and ambience were the quaint stand outs. Would be happy to return though!

It's taken me 8 years to try this place, and I'm sorry it took me so long, had the banquet and was suitably well fed. I will certainly return soon. The pork was divine, the salt and pepper squid tasty and I loved the fried rice!

Whilst checking out this restaurant prior to going I noticed there wasn't many recent reviews, hence, I decided to write this review.
I found it to be a perfect place to take a family with kids that wont break the budget. The food is fresh, the servings are large, albeit a little heavy on the veg and light on the meat, and the cost is great value, with most mains about $15.

The staff are lovely and friendly. Its a fairly large and roomy restaurant overlooking Collaroy beach. The tables are nicely spaced so its comfortable for a large group. Lacks some refineries but just a nice local place to eat.

Have been here for birthday dinners 2 times and both times have had a great night, been here on a quiet night in mid week and on a buzy saty night and have had no regrets whatssoever, this restaurant can handle anything even under pressure. Their servings are big and filling and worth the price. The service is very friendly and very helpful. They sure know how to make you feel comfortable and wanting to return.

Thank you so much everyone at Hob Nob your service has always been awesome and the food is out of the ordinary, we drive all the way from cronulla to Collaroy it take us a while to get there and drive back but let me tell you its worth it! its very hard to find a restaurant as good as yours around!

Thanks again Hob Nob! keep up the great work! Highly recommended to everyone. I'm serious, you gota try there, money bags, salt and pepper mushrooms, sizzling garlic prawns and sizzling mongolian lamb yummmm, every thing else is basically great as well. You would not be disappointed!

My two favourite Asian meals, green curry and pad thai are both incredibly done. Though portions are small and not cheap, the food is extraordinary. The service is the best I have ever encountered, the staff are so attentive.

Delicious food and friendly and attentive staff. You don't wait a second to be seated and within seconds you have glasses of iced water placed in front of you and your wine opened to enjoy while you peruse the menu. The chef's special of salt and pepper mushrooms are delicious - and never seen anywhere else. The peanut sauce is aromatic and authentic Thai - a totally delicious experience we hope to repeat.

Have been going to the Hob Nob for years and it never let me down. The staffs are lovely and very attentive, have been there in large groups and small groups and the service is very consistent. The free rice is a great bonus and the food is delicious, it's so hard to pick my favourite dish! The atmosphere is really pleasant and friendly. I happen to be vegetarian and I feel there is a good selection of dishes on offer. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for a nice night out and the complimentary chocolates are really delicious too!

Food: there are much better tasting thai restaurants in Sydney. Just take the pad thai - too much overcooked noodles, soggy bean sprouts, no peanuts, and too much sweetness with no lemon offered.

Ambience: nicely decorated, comfortable place.

Service: very attentive. one of our party was coeliac and the waitress and manager were very helpful.

Value: in terms of $ it's cheap for northern beaches, but value for quality of food is average.

Great restaurant. Seriously the best Thai food I have tasted for a long, long time. Service and everything was stunning, couldn't ask for anything better... Highly recommended.
