Another wet miserable night in Sydney and we decided to see if there was something interesting close by we could try. We stumbled across this cafe` on eatability and thought why not?

The manager was quite helpful in our selection of foods once discovering we had never had this type of cuisine before. He recommended a couple of popular dishes which we ordered consisting of dumplings that were chinese style in looks.

We also ordered the BBQ Mutton (which was goat) and the Curry Chicken. The goat was awesome, as were the little sides that accompanied it. The chicken curry was perfection with heaps of coriander which I just loved.

We also had some naan bread. Ot tasted almost like pancake, fresh of the grill and crispy outside and soft on the center, just great :) Will we be back? Of course we will and we will be taking friends with us next time too.

I've been to this unassuming eatery three or four times now. It used to be part grocery, part cafe but the grocery has completely disappeared and been replaced with more tables. A good thing because the food is excellent. The chicken momos and thali are recommended. We found our buffalo dish tasty but a little tough.

Ambience is bright and breezy since being renovated. The service staff are quiet but unobtrusive and friendly. On separate occasions, they gave me free lassi and momos to sample. I'll be back again.

My boyfriend and I stumbled on this place by accident and were So happy that we did. We're pretty new to Nepalese food so we just pointed at a few things in the menu and were extremely happy with our choices. The dish of the day were the Chilli Chicken Momos (dumplings) - Omg, I will be making special efforts to get back to Auburn just to eat these little gems again. Also keen to try each of the different types of Momos they have. Need to also give their dahl a special mention, it was delish.

Heard great things about this restaurant, only to be heavily disappointed. I'm guessing my friends may have been hung over. The choila was torture and contained something that resembled Japanese Wasabi, and I felt like my nose was under attack.

The Momo seemed ok but when I bit into it, the Momo skin was very dry on the inside and induced a very sickening feeling. But worst of all was the Chicken Biryani, the rice was stale and the overall taste was just bland! and it was just too much chilli! I love hot food, but I felt they used so much to mask the bad flavour!

The waitress was unacknowledgeable and looked like someone smacked her face very hard. Overall don't go.

The food at this restaurant is brilliant! I wouldn't really call it a restaurant though, its more like a cafe style sort of place. We had the goat curry which was divine and the lamb biryani (which we ordered mild but it was still way too spicy so beware). The smell of the toilet very third world but I'd definitely go again, its worth it for the food!

Went for the first time three weeks ago, and have already been back a second time for the great food. Service was outstanding both times. Food is very cheap and very tasty. And very hot, so think twice before ordering the "atomic' strength momo.

I'm not sure why the food has been rated low, but this place has the best momo I have eaten in Australia. Service was good. Staff were polite and attentive. Food came out quickly. This place is just a casual restaurant so the ambience is nothing to complain about. Try the chilli momo if you like it spicy. The newari style foods are really nice too!

Just wanna try this in Nepalese Rest. in Auburn, the service was very terrible, the worst I have ever experienced. Food was ok. Need to improve the sitting plan, no room to breath, the value was worth it though.
