1st time here, was very impressed! Got the banquet for four: food was authentic, fresh, well presented and the service was outstanding. Very reasonable corkage, tasty dishes (a standout was the beef curry and the dunplings). The entrees, mains and dessert was very well spaced out without us feeling rushed Or left waiting. It was a little loud, but this was the only downside (which wasn't even an issue really) to a great evening. Will definitely be back!

Our group of 6 tried the banquet which offered very good value for money. The entrees were more than adequate and the mains - grilled chicken, beef curry, stir fried veggies and a goat dish were all done to perfection. Dessert was ice cream and gulab jamun, all washed down with spiced tea. We are glad to have discovered one of Glebe's finest and will certainly be back!

I went there for lunch midweek with some friends because I was recommended to go there by multiple of friends.

My Lamb salad was yummy with so much flavor with many spices. I tried the dish that my husband ordered which was a goat curry and the meat was so tender and flavorsome. The portion was not huge but it was enough for me for lunch.If you are a very hungry man,you may need 1 more dish. But it was a lunch special and only $11 or something and for the work goes into it,it is reasonable.

I am happy that I discovered a new good cuisine " Himalayan"! Himalayan is not a well known cuisine yet and I found it a little bit similar with Indian food for the use of lots of spices but it is lighter.(And someone told me that it is good for someone requires gluten food). I would definitely go back again. Next time for dinner.

We went to this great restaurant for the first time and were incredibly impressed. The food is great. The service is great and you are made to feel very relaxed. BYO is another plus. Will definitely be going back.

Finally had a chance to bring friends to this place on a Sat night. Sporting an interesting menu, no-one was disappointed with the momo entree and their respective dishes. The lamb shanks were super succulent. The service was the best I've encountered in quite some time. The wait staff were super friendly and attentive and we received warm smiles from all and sundry as we made our way out of the restaurant. Value-wise it was ok ($25-30pp) but overall it far exceeded our expectations. I'll be back.

We had dinner there last night, and I'd have to say that this place is great. So many restaurants come and go in Glebe, and I hope this one stays! The goat curry was incredibly tasty and tender, and the other dishes of lamb saag, oatmeal crumbed prawns, and few other were also outstanding. $90 for three was pretty good value, and the service was excellent.

Firstly cannot understand first review. Diners need to remember large groups cannot expect to be special in small restaurants They need to look after each diner equally My wife and I have now been twice and this restaurant is a little food gem in Glebe Well done Great food and service very good value.

Went there for a small function. Table of about 15. Ordered at 7 pm and did not see a plate of food until 8:40 pm! never offered any drinks. Got a jug of water to share between us and the water tasted like dishwashing detergent. Waiter spilled a drink on one of the guests. Forgot part of my meal even after having asked 3 times. Paid $18 for 4 prawns and 2 small potato cakes.

Never in a million years would I go again. I was bored out of my mind. Do yourselves a favor and go down the road to spanish tapas you will have a blast! was almost contemplating leaving to go there.

I have been going to Crows Nest Himalaya for many years and was pleased to take friends from "the other side of the Bridge" to the Glebe sister restaurant. As usual, the food was great and the wait staff friendly and helpful to the newcomers in my party.
