To dear Voucher Buyers - be very careful about this restaurant before you buy any vouchers!

I bought a $29 voucher. On the voucher it clearly said "you can choose any two entrees and any two main meals". Thought was a good deal. However it totally turned to be a waste of money and especially precious time.

When start ordering, I was told that I could not choose some of the entrees (with the higher price). I had no choice but finally chose 1 of the prawn entree and 1 of the lamb cutlets entree. On their restaurant menu, it clearly stated that the prawn entree had 7 pieces and the lamb entree had 4 pieces. However after 20 minutes waiting, I was only served 3 pieces of prawn and 2 pieces of lamb cutlets!

The waiter's explanation was because we were using vouchers, we couldn't get the full serving, and it was not their problem but the voucher company's mistake. How ridiculous it is!

Finished the entree (only half the size) at around 7:50 pm, even though the restaurant was not busy, I was kept waiting for another 55 minutes. Yes, believe or not, 55 minutes! Sat there very hungry. The main meals didn't come until 8:45 pm without even an apology!

The main meals were disappointing too. The servings were incredibly small! I knew the answer immediately: because I was the voucher user. And the chicken was very cold inside. Again, no apology.

Left the restaurant very hungry and ruined the whole night out. So much time had been wasted. Even the Indian food in any food court would be much better taste and of course much much better value than this restaurant.

Avoid!

When a new restaurant opens they should do everything possible to ensure that their customers will return. Not here however. With only four tables occupied one would expect service to be reasonably fast. It wasn't. We had a voucher which stated that you could have Any 2 entrees and Any 2 mains. When we received only a half serve of the entree, we complained and we were later given another serving. We were also limited to which entrees that we could have despite the voucher clearly stating Any Entree.

The mains that were served were smaller than other customers received at the next table. The fish was slightly undercooked but the chicken was okay. There was only enough food for one person as the servings were small. What really annoyed us was that we waited an incredible 50 minutes from the time we finished the entree until the main course was served. No reason or apologies were given when the food finally arrived. Unless the kitchen gets their act together then this restaurant will have a very short life.

Unfortunately, at this outlet they know nothing about service and didn't even care. All other diners had a similar waiting time. Honestly, who would return to a restaurant with such bad service?

Even after reading the other review on this restaurant we still decided to test the place and see for ourselves. I was pleasantly surprised. Flavours were absolutely spot-on, really enjoyed the butter chicken and tandoori, and the service could not be faulted. The waiters were very attentive and took our orders straight away.

The food did not take long at all to come out and we were very happy with the food. I would recommend this restaurant as we enjoyed it very much and would most definitely return again.

We used to come to this place when it was called Zyka the Taste. Upon our return, it took 45 minutes for someone to take our order, when we asked for the set menu (which is for a minimum of 2 people) for our couples, we were told we couldn't, so we ordered 10 separate dishes. It took almost an hour for the food to come out, and when it did, the portions were extremely small for the value (only 5 small cut pieces of chicken). We complained and asked for more food according to the price of the meal and were satisfied in our request, but altogether, the service and value were poor, were it not for our insistence. We won't go back, sadly.
