Had yum cha for lunch here. There was a slight mix up but was resolved by the manager fairly fast, so not a big deal. Price was okay when you take into account the pricey nature of yum cha in general and the food was good so all in all a place worth considering if you're in the mood for Chinese.

This little hometown restaurant has a wonderful menu selection, better than most in the Sydney CBD. Yes it's true some things on the menu are not typical chinese but who cares when what they offer tastes better! We've tried every one of the Chef's specials and have never been disappointed. P.S. The bill won't hurt your pocket either!

We had a banquet. I have always ascertained that a banquet in a Chinese restaurant is a rip off and this place confirmed it. The mixed entree was the worst part of the meal. A prawn toast that had lots of sesame, but no prawns. The spring roll was tasteless and hardly had any filling. The chicken and ham roll was in batter and along with the toast and spring roll was deep fried, we actually had to ask what it was. We complained about the prawn toast with no prawns and were given more deep fried chicken and ham roll. Not much of that was eaten.

The main courses came pretty much at the same time. We had 2 normal size serves for each table and there was 2 tables. There was not enough for everyone to get a reasonable serve. For the amount of Chinese and other Asian restaurants in the area, you would think they would lift their game. Fortunately, I do not live in the area so the possiblility of going there again is non existent.

Ok, so it's basically your typical 80s style chinese food but nowhere near as bad as previous reviewers have said. I won't be rushing back but that said, I won't refuse to go back either.

God knows how this place is still going. Tiny portions and expensive as hell. Had beef and black bean and I swear it smelt like Parmesan cheese. The food could have been warmer, I will try another one down the road next time.

We used to eat here regularly but its way too expensive now for a suburban chinese. I agree with other reviewers. The tiny portion sizes are a sick joke. You wouldn't mind so much is the quality of the food was way above average to compensate. You can go down the road to the bowling club for a decent chinese meal that won't break the bank.

Complete rip off, of a restaurant. The meal or should I say the small few bites that we got tasted like last nights left overs. Service was slow and the food was half cold by the time it got to us.

Food has been pretty good for a while till the last time we went round there and ordered the beef black bean? And it smelt and tasted like cow faeces, when we complained about the meal to the restaurant they tasted a bit and said that this was the correct taste. We have had the beef and black bean before and it has never tasted so bad and I doubt anyone would order such a meal that tasted of cow manure.

What was i thinking, the highlight of the night was knowing i can come back to my computer and let other people know how bad of an experience I had, complete rip off, the service always felt like you were bothering them (at this place you are not served you are just another number in an almost empty place). The food was bland and was loaded with onion even though I asked three times for it to come with no onion, also to have 2 dim sums steamed and 2 fried is too much trouble to have the best of both worlds you will need to order 2 servings of 4.

If you want a place where you feel guilty to order a 2nd $10 jug of flat coke, are happy to eat a portion that would fill a small child, and am will to refinance the house to pay the bill, I would recommend Hill Top, if that doesn't rub you the right way then I would go to Woolies and buy the cheapest stuff on shelf and make it at home, it will taste better and be 25% of the price!
