Had breakfast here on a Saturday morning and the place was quite busy. My husband and I were waiting about 10 minutes after we sat down and still hadn't been given a menu, so I went to the counter and took one for myself. It was another 10 minutes until we were approached by a waitress to order our meal.
We were waiting for about 20 minutes, and then the drinks came out (carrot, watermelon and ginger juice - yum!). Another 25 minutes had passed before the food came out and by that time we were starving and our drinks were finished. But despite the 45 minutes wait, the food was delicious.
Will definitely go back there, but, perhaps, on a day when I've got plenty of time to spare.

We had breakfast here, could be a bit cheaper, but the food was worth it. Only disappointment was that i ordered Tea and the Full Breakfast and I like to have my Tea when I'm eating breakfast. But the Tea came straight away and the food took a while, it was at least 15 minutes later. But the food was great.

Food is good, but over priced, and serves definitely smaller than they used to be. The coffee is just ok.

You can always depend on the Hatters Cafe being consistent. However, a few things are starting to slip. Portion sizes are gettting smaller and what happened to the gorgeous side salads? Just a few old brown leafed lettuce leaves. No more yummy nuts and other bits. Great coffee.

The best steak in Katoomba. Their red wine and mushroom sauce is amazing!
The service is great, the atmosphere is very relaxing and comforting, and of course, the hats next door are all gorgeous. I also recommend the sourdough garlic bread.

I like Hatters. I've eaten there many times. The food is always good and it's a lovely place to eat especially on a sunny day as it adds to the atmosphere.

Their coffee is lovely, highly recommend their mocha's. Pasta was really good - cabonara, however it was a bit oily. Serving size is excellent - you are not left hungry after a trip to the Hatters cafe.
Service is excellent, very friendly. Uncluttered room, plenty of space. Lovely atmosphere.
