We been to Hardeeps last week. Food was very good. Service was perfect. Best indian food in hornsby.

I have been a Hardeep's fan for many years. As I haven't had Hardeep's since my birthday in May, I was really looking forward to it tonight. With out even knowing, the minute we began to eat we assumed our beloved Hardeep's had changed hands. The naan was small, and dry. The butter chicken and lamb khorma tasted watered down, and bland. Delivery also took around 1.5 hours. The old Hardeep's were always early! This is a huge disappointment. The new management has ruined a local favorite.

Hardeeps is under new management and not for the better. There is no longer a 10% discount for takeaway and the quality of their food has dropped immensely. I had to throw the onion bhaji's out as they were horrid. Their service has always been quite gruff and there is no improvement there. The mango chicken had too much mango and was quite a disappointment. We won't be going back to Hardeeps under new management.

Went here the other day for the first time, dine in. The place is very small and could be easily missed but inside it's very cosy and has a nice ambience. The staff were nice and friendly. The food is great and very reasonably price. We had samosas, vegetable norma and butter chicken and all were great. Naan's were so good too! Highly recommended, we'll be back.

We ordered delivery from Hardeeps this week. We were told it would be up to 45 minutes wait. After five phone calls and 2 hours we got our cold food. They admitted to forgetting our order and compensated us with some pathetic mini-icecream and an extra serve of popadoms. On top of all that all the currys tasted the same.

Love Hardeep's overall - We usually opt for the takeaway, and whilst the menu is too long with a couple of duds (The Saag Aloo springs to mind) their Veggie Korma, Beef Madras and Vindaloo are genuinely outstanding.

I ordered home delivery from Hardeeps last weekend and was satisfied with the low cost and speed of the delivery. I ordered the biryani (extra hot), chicken tikka masala and butter chicken. The butter chicken, chicken tikka masala was ok, but very creamy while the Biryani was delicious, but not even close to spicy. This was a disappointment, as I asked for it to be extra spicy on the phone with a mischievous laugh and a "no problem" in reply. I had thought that they were going to call my bluff. I also ordered this with rice and cheese/garlic naans which were awesome.

Hardeeps needs a makeover. It just doesn't have a comfortable ambience. It felt like a place to eat and go. The food was very nice and the single staff member served us politely and efficiently. Prices were good value. Not rushing back but would go again for a quick meal.

Feeling like a couple of nice curries after a hard day on the football pitch, I thought I would try Hardeep's. Usually I would go to the Tandoori and Curry Club, but decided to give this place a crack. One of the dishes I ordered was a prawn vindaloo.

Usually when I order this, I expect, and get fresh king prawns, tiger prawns or at the least, banana prawns. What was served up in this prawn vindaloo, however, were the tiny frozen prawns that you usually get in a fried rice. Disgraceful.

When I returned home with my takeaway, I also noticed that they had forgotten to include two of the dishes. I am currently waiting for them to deliver the missing dishes. They said it would be 5 minutes, it has been 25, wonder if I shall see them at all.

We hadn't eaten at Hardeeps for some time, but, recalled that it was good in the past, so booked in on Friday, 19 March. Quite a disappointment, I'm afraid. My Indian Roti was actually all but burnt, in fact, it looked mostly burnt on both sides and was hard. The Garlic Naans were described as good by the rest of our group. We had four different curries: a butter chicken, a Goa seafood, a vegetarian and a lamb korma.

One might have expected more difference between the flavours of the four, but, in fact, only the butter chicken tasted much different than the rest, and none of the dishes tasted significantly better than what one can buy out of a tin at Woolies. The service was minimal, despite there being few patrons throughout the time we were there, between 7 and 9 pm on a Friday night. They didn't even bring water to our table. Times and restaurants change, and Hardeeps certainly has, we'll have to look elsewhere for good Indian food.
