The food is quite good. My friend had butter chicken with plain naan and rice and she's quite happy with the meal. I had lamb Vindaloo with plain naan and rice which is alright but the lamb was dry.

The service, however, was bad. They quite pushy in terms of selling their food. They keep asking us if we want some popodums, like, 5 times. Then they keep asking if we want wine or entree, over and over again when we already told them no we don't want wine or entree, and dismissing me when I tried to order some mango lassi.

At the end, they short change us altho it wasn't much but still we'd like to have our change. Maybe they have an automatic tipping system when you pay the bill.

Overall, we decided not to go back there anymore.

Food was very delicious. Especially starter course was well garnished and tasty chicken pieces. I wanna come again.

The setting is divine, the service good but the food: questionable. The mixed entrees were lovely but the four curries tasted alarmingly similar and I became very thirsty during the meal. I was very unwell last night. I will not be going there again.

There was a party of 7 of us, so we had a wide selection of food to share. The entree chicken was partly raw so it was sent back and they replaced it. But worst of all were the curries which were bland and lacked flavour. The kitchen staffs need to realise that curries generally need some chillis in them! We will never go back. Very disappointing.

The waiter was grumpy, kept trying to get us to order beer or wine, and tried to make us order a banquet. The Rogan Josh was overcooked, and there was absolutely 0 heat in the food. We had to order side chillies. Good view but that's the only thing good about it.

Amazing restaurant which I recently explored but the reviews I read were dissappointing, my experience at this restaurant was nothing but pleasure. View is one of the best in Sydney, food was tasty & fresh, waiter was nice and gave suggestions. Would suggest this restaurant to friends and family for a special occasion (birthdays,anniversaries etc) location is just superb!

Not a fan of indian but friend of mine insisted we go there. I've turned! Food was so flavourome, service genuine and view superb. Visiting again next week with a friend.

Food presentation was poor and not appetizing. We ordered two different curry dishes (beef/fish) but we could not tell the difference, same color same taste and very few and small pieces of beef and fish hard to find them. Too pricey. Tables are too small and too close to each other, uncomfortable. Avoid at all cost!

I strongly disagree with some of these comments. I gave the restaurant a shot recently and was very happy with the food and service. The waitress suggest some favourites (Butter Chicken, Prawn Masala, Fish Amrastari and Garlic naan). I would definitely give this restaurant a go. We were overall pretty happy with everything and would go back anyday.

Having been to this restaurant plenty of times in the past years, I am still happy to say the food is always at a high standard. I would definitely say it is the best Indian restaurant in Sydney, a hidden little gem. I also regularly order take aways which are also of the same high quality standard.
