Good food, service and value. All meat dishes I have tried here are tender and bursting with fresh flavours. I highly recommend the Salt and Pepper Squid, Chicken Lemongrass and Chilli, Spicy Beef Salad, Meat Bonfires and the fresh BBQ Beef Rolls are a must. mmm... try it out!

Nice background music, subtle and simple but good for a quiet meal with some friends. Staff and service are very friendly too!

I have lived in the area for years and Halong has been around with various names, but always very good. It's a bit cheap Chinese decor, but it's pleasant, cheap and good quality.

We ordered the mixed entree, there was lots of it and very nice. The Campfire chicken was also excellent. The service was wonderful, they even closed the credit card off without waiting for a tip, I gave them cash deserved every cent.

We were walking past Halong Bay on a Monday night and saw Uncle Van inside. Uncle Van was always a wonderful host, and he remembered us from Vantastica days. He helps out on a Monday and Tuesday night, and recommended the salt and pepper squid, which was delicious. Gluten intolerant people of the world (or inner west) take note: Halong Bay's version of this dish is made with potato flour! A good experience, we will be back.
