    Damn right amazing my hair rocks I've had sooo many compliments. As soon as I walked out a lady asked "where did u get you hair done" I had the biggest grin on my face. My daughter has come to the bondi salon too and shes left with fabulous hair the stylist had our best interests at heart and truly affordable I couldn't ask for more the products she gave me suited my hair brilliantly cpr phase one is like "gods gift" I'd highly recommend this salon to any one what a pleasant experience.

    I bought a voucher from this place for a keratin straightening treatment, only to be advised on arrival at the salon that I had to pay an extra $50 for the treatment, because of my hair. This was not included anywhere on the voucher.

    The staff were rude, didn't introduce themselves. After a few days, and one hair wash (following their instructions) the treatment had washed out. It didn't even last 5 days! to their credit they offered me to redo it, but it took 3 hours the first time and I didn't want to sit through that again. Instead I got my hair thinned out thinking it might make a difference.

    My next haircut at another salon, my hairdresser commented on how terrible the haircut was, I had random chunks missing. I strongly recommend you stay clear of this salon. They're not working for their clients.

    Like most others, I too bought a voucher online and think it was very much worth it ! I went in there and all the girls were very helpful and friendly. They did an awesome job on my hair colour and hair cut. I've so far visited 3 times since the voucher and have never regretted it :) I bought some extensions the last time I was there, and they have made a huge difference to my life ! I've been getting compliments left right and center and I have only them to thank for showing me them! I would definitely recommend hair by nivine to everyone!

    I arrived hoping the best after I bought a voucher online, unfortunately, I obly read the reviews afterwards. I have the Living Social app on my phone that displays the voucher to be redeemed. Upon showing this to the receptionist, she refused it, stating I needed to print it. I asked if I could email her the voucher so she could print it right there, which she also refused. She also refused to call her manager until I insisted. Whether she actually called her is debatable. She was so unhelpful and rude that at this point I wasn't about to trust her or anyone in that shop with my hair.

    Appalling attitude and zero customer service. Talk about wasting my time money! Thankfully another salon nearby was friendly and accommodating and took great care of me. Happy to pay full price if the service is good, and I won't ever be going to Nivine at a discount.


    Response from Management:
    Dear Customer,

    Once you have purchased the voucher online, it says "Click here to print this voucher". Once you have clicked on this, it says " You will need to bring this voucher and your Photo ID".

    The company itself does not allow us to perform any service without a print-out of the voucher. I apologize if the girls failed to explain this to you properly, but it isn't our rule.

    Also, we do not actually have a printer in the salon, as all paperwork is done via our office. Sorry for the misunderstanding and if you would like to be compensated for this, then we are more than happy to help.

    Wow I'm happy I'm not the only one, But I'm determined to make sure they don't fool anyone else. I found a deal on jump on it for $89 valued at $298. It was a total gimmick, no one had any knowledge of the deal. I had four different girls work on my hair. They were pushing toner's, two tones, everything was extra. It wasn't until I was getting my hair blowdried that someone actually took the time to ask how my day was.

    The girls kept going over to the corner and bitching about one another. I've been having my hair highlighted since I was 13 and this was by Far the worst experience I ever had. They also tried pushing hair extensions on me and telling me I should go on a payment plan even after I had said No O cannot afford it. It ended up costing me alot more because of all the extras. My hair does not even look like I've had it done, She used no more than 20 foils for a half head and spaced them far apart, I had to ask for more which they charged me $6.95 per foil extra.

    So I gave out and they said they would fix it a few days later, they then emailed me a confirmation email and they had booked for the wrong date, when I did turn up for my app they said they were going to put 5extra foils in my hair, I blew up and asked to speak to the owner, no one would give me any details, so I left my name and number and I'm still waiting for someone to get in touch.

    Dear Customer,

    Firstly, I can assure you that all our staff members had knowledge of the deal and it was not a 'gimmick'. Secondly, you say you have had foils done since you were 13 and so you should know that toners and two-tone colours are a normal, extra service that should be suggested to achieve optimum results. Thirdly, we give free demonstrations on our hair extensions, and you are not obliged to try them or go on a 'payment plan' for them.

    I apologize if you felt as though there were not enough foils put in, and you are more than welcome to come into the salon and have it fixed up.
