This place is buried in the ground floor of an office building, and this combined with gymnasium style floor coverings and assortment of fluorescent lighting gives it a bit of a weird feel.

I've been twice now and the word that comes to mind is adequate. The food is okay, but by no means brilliant. The drinks menu is decent and reasonably priced. Service stands out a bit as the exception to the above, the staff are friendly and seemed pretty attentive when I was there.

It's quite popular for parties, with a large central table catering to groups of up to 12-14 people. This means it's probably not the best place for a quiet intimate night out. That said, it's good fun and the "all you can eat" fajitas are pretty decent, just don't fill up on entrees!

A group of us came here to use those deal vouchers. Overall it was a fun night and we enjoyed our time here. Atmosphere on saturday was busy and vibrant. Service was average. Not very attentive, but we did not really want that anyway as we were busy chatting. But if we called for a waiter, they would come over fairly quickly. Food was good, not great. If I was in the area and felt like mexican, then I might come again, but I would not make an effort to go here. As Mexican food is very simple and consist of the same basic ingredients, it's not too hard to pull this off at home either.

Coming from US with the Latino background, I was craving for some Mexican food. I came across Had to Happen Mexican restaurant in North Sydney, ordered the all you can eat fajitas, I have to say the best fajitas I ever tasted, the marinate was great the meat was super tender and juicy and I have worked in Mexican restaurants in US for ten years! Just great complements to the chefs.

Wow - one of the worst Mexican meals we've ever had, 2 plates of sludgy food, a not-too-wonderful bean dip and chips to start plus 2 beers each = 75 dollars. Definitely won't be going there again. A dreadful experience, and felt like a huge rip off. What a shame.

Went with a large group of girls a little while ago and had the bestest night ! great atmosphere the fajitas were unbelievable and great jugs of margaritas ! Can't wait to go back !

Gotta Love Good Mexican - and let me tell you it is a rare commodity in Sydney, Australia. I'm originaly from San Fran and have always loved californian mexican as it is the best form of mexican around with so much variety and taste. I've been in Sydney for the last year and will be heading back home shortly but i stumbled across this place in North Sydney one day and decided to make a booking through their website the next day.

I went down with about 6 friends and gotta say I was blown away buy the atmosphere and colours and vibe of the place - very cool, as I've never come across anything like it in Sydney yet. The staff had a care factor of 10 and did everything to put a smile on our face. The girls loved the poppers and margaritas while the boys loved the all you can eat fajitas and a lazy boy corona or 5!

On a negative note the thought the price was a bit high but then again in San Fran the same meal would have come to say $70 - $100 for 6 people so I'm still adjusting to aussie prices so maybe my opinion is a bit warped. Either way its a great time and I went back again the other night and had another really good night so i got involved with the facebook thing and might tr and tell my aussie mates about it!

So in summary - if you just want to have a cool, casual, fun evening no pressure, no stress just an enjoyable meal and a laugh this is a good place to go. For a first date this place would work a treat!

I would never return here after staff allocated themselves two $10.00 tips after we left from each card that we paid with. Until this point the food was ok but now I will be spreading the word to never step foot in this place.

Loved it! So few Mexican places, let alone good ones. The poppers and fajitas unreal and great margaritas! Nice place to take 6 year old daughter with casual feel and bright coloured decor. She loved the chocolate cake claiming it was the best desert ever. Service was friendly and attentive. Place was packed by 7pm on Sat night with a lively atmosphere. Fun!

Went to this restaurant with some girlfirends on a Saturday night. We had the sangria (mango flavour), and all loved it. As a starter we had the melted blu cheese and it was absoutely divine. I could have just had that for dinner! All the meals were great, but the quesadillas were the favourite for the night (we didn't try the fajitas but I'd heard they were great).

Nice to have some authentic mexicans working there. The service was great, homely and attentive, and meals came out quickly. By the time we left the restaurant was completely full. We'll definitely be going back soon.

The food was average, although I like their Quesadilla more than their Fajitas. The Sangria was quite nice though. Ambience, service and value are average.
