We went for lunch. I was a bit annoyed we were not shown the lunch menu and we ordered from the main only than to see the lunch specials on the table under the wine list. We could have saved a bundle ($10 - $15 lunch deals and huge serves from what we saw comming out). I got the lamb it was tough and dry. Chips were Insane!

My hubby got the mixed grill could not fault it the beef ribs fell from the bone so yummy, the entree of calamari ribbons was a large service as well enough to share between the two of us, total bill came to 89.00 but it was our wedding anna. Staff were very helpful very friendly will def return. On our next date night without the kids, it helps its right next to reading cinemas.

I recently went to Griddle with my and 2 other couples. It was a Saturday night and the restaurant was fairly busy. Out of the blue our waitress came over and apologised for the delay in our main meals and asked if we wanted a round of drinks on the house. The manager went out of his away to accommodate us as my friends had 3 babies between them. It was a great restaurant and I look forward to going back.

I was really looking forward to going to this restaurant after I read all the great reviews, however, I did leave a bit disappointed. The restaurant does have a great vibe and the decor is great, however, the service was lacking and my husband had to send his very very rare steak back twice after ordering it medium and it came out almost blue both times.

Needless to say, he ended up not being able to eat it and did ask that half of his money be refunded. The desserts were good, way too big and by the time you have eaten 2 of the four skewers you're out of ice cream anyway. I noticed the table next to us also having a few issues getting the waitress to get her what she ordered.

This restaurant will be fantastic once they get on top of a few minor issues (I ordered the rib eye with a lobster mornay side and although the steak was lovely, the lobster was way over cooked). Would I go back, hmmmm, yeah I would give it one more go.

We had a girlie dinner out last Friday and we were all very impressed with the service and food at the Griddle. The Manager, Fred is so welcoming and friendly, never lets your glass go empty! All floor staff were very friendy, professional and attentive. My girlfiends and I never had to wait for the staff to take our orders and the food followed very quickly.

Our steaks were cooked perfectly and side dishes were fab. We were made to feel special so our overall experience was excellent and one to rave about to others. Thank you Fred and his staff for making our girlie night so enjoyable. We will be visiting frequently and expect our wine glasses to be filled and chilled when we return.

I noticed that there had been a number of cosmetic changes in recent times (for the better) and there was a new Manager so we had to give it a go. I immediately recognised the new manager Fred. He used to manage one of the neighbouring restaurants and made positive changes to that one in his time. To the owners, "Good pick up."

I have been to many grills where the steak is great (it would want to be for a grill) but the accompaniments are a let down. The team at Griddle… well done. Amongst the four of us the highlights were the Waygu steak, almost did not need the knife and my teeth didn’t get much of a workout either and the Pumpkin Risotto was a big hit with the misses. I know my mate enjoyed the feed as he kept saying we need to come back without the girls.

Went to Griddle the other night and was pleasantly surprised with the food, service and venue. Had been there before when it was a Black Stump and want expecting too much, but my husband and I both left very satisfied. Service is great, menu selection is too, flavours are not traditional, but outstanding. Well done to the team at Griddle and goodluck.

It was a pleasure to dine here with my family on Saturday. Great service lots to choose from on the menu, we didn't book so we only waited 15 minutes on the comfy outdoor lounges.
