I visited for Mother's Day lunch with my partner and 2yr old daughter.
The staff were quick and friendly and it didn't take to long for the food to come out (always a plus when dining with toddlers).
Well lit restaurant with stunning surrounds. Impressive flora and art work which greatly completed the relaxed happy ambiance.
Then the food arrived. It was enjoyable but had many small imperfections.
The garlic bread tasted like olive oil (good quality though so not unpleasant to eat)
The barramundi served on salad was well cooked and flavoursome, but was swimming in olive oil again.
Then the dessert, lemon lime tart, the crust was a tad flowery so I broke that off and just ate the filling which was probably one of the best tart fillings I had eaten in terms of taste and consistency.
Over all I had a great day and the food even with those errors were amazing on the pallet. The price however, was more then I would like to pay again any time soon especially the kids menu at $25 for mini schnitzel and chips followed by 2 scoops of ice cream.

Clean spacious cafe set in a green surrounding. It has a open feel to it, which is a far cry from the regular joints within the city. The staff was welcoming and accommodating with the kids. We were in between lunch and afternoon tea and the waitress was courteous to read out all the available options. The adjacent kids playground is a treat to the parents who can have some time to themselves. Yes, the place is a bit on the steep side but def worth a visit for its ambience and food.

We dropped in for lunch on Easter Saturday and were fleeced of $65 for 2 fish and chips and a couple of coffee. Two pieces of fish and lots of chips...will not be going there again and not recommending others either.

First time at this restaurant, has a great garden seating. Absolutely relaxing, kids have a play area which was pleasant to hear kids play with minimal noise. Definitely would bring family and friends!

Lots of good reviews about this place, however, I would never set foot in there again, it is a rip off because they can because the food is good, they rely on that fact.
As for service and customer skills "disgraceful' If you are only ordering small you will be ignored as 'not profitable'. One morning my husband and I ordered coffee and raisin toast at 9.10am cofee came out pronto (very good too) 9.30am no toast yet. Asked if we wanted more coffee (thats how they up the bill) 9.45am no toast. The place was not busy with three other tables occupied and at least 5 staff about.
A waitress walked passed and asked would we like more drinks we said we are waiting for toast 'Oh' she said, another waitress asked would we like more coffee by 10am we decided enough was enough as a couple opposite us complained they were waiting for toast we left paying only for the coffee saying we waited too long for toast, no surprise, no explanation no apology, so that one is off our list.
Sad thing is, for them, we were checking the place out to have dinner there for 18 people (and to write a review for our local rag which we did) So in the end it was a big lose for them.

I brought my friend here for lunch on Saturday. She has lots of intolerances to food and the staff were so accommodating and nothing she requested was a problem. The Basil on Ciabatta bread was awesome, and the 'Dessert For Two' ($24) was superb and definitely worth the money! The surrounding Nursery and smell of a logfire added to the ambience. There's also a great (fenced) play area for the little ones. A beautiful quaint location that I absolutley love coming to. Thanks guys for (once again) a wonderful dining experience!

A beautiful cafe set in a lovely little nursery. I had Eggs Benedict with bacon which wasn't cheap at $19, but was really really delicious. Husband had big breakfast which was also thoroughly enjoyed. Omelettes ordered by our friends were great and tasty too.
Pancakes looked a little small for the price. One thing that disappointed was the toast that came with the breakfasts was toasted sourdough and it was rock hard! Too hard to cut with the knife, you had to saw and tear at it! Other than that it's good coffee, a lovely atmosphere and very friendly staff.

We know several people who agree that the food is fantastic here. We have been twice and on both occasions the food and service has been great. My father in law even said the eye fillet was the best steak he has ever had (big statement after 70 years of eating steak). It is not cheap but you do get what you pay for. Would be nice if you could BYO wine though.

We had brunch at this cafe. We had pancakes, english breakfast and salmon eggs benedict with coffee, tea and juice - so we did try quite a few things. The food was a bit expensive for what it was. The best thing about this cafe is the playground which lets the parents enjoy the company they are with.
