Where do I begin? Well let's start with the positive shall we. The food is pretty damn good and the waitress's are very pleasant. Now the negative. I've been there a few times and the last time I went was definitely the last time all because of the male owner who sloths around that place like he's some kind of power figure, what an absolute wanker, he does nothing but argue, give dirty looks, say smart comments. All of which are directed at customers, and stare's at the female customers. To the staff and chef, bravo, keep up the good work. To captain miserable, stick to working out the back where you won't bother anyone.
Agree with other comments on staff being rude, felt like a nuisance to staff not a customer. Perhaps, staff are in the wrong profession. They ruined a special family occasion and I will never return.
Went for the first time for an anniversary, thought the food was great and I can't wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. I noticed that the staff was friendly and make the environment comfortable. I would definitely go back!
Have dined there on a number occasions, food is very good, staff are always very friendly, most nights are very busy. I have been to alot of other restaurants all over Sydney, and Gotties is one of our favourite. Never disappointed.
My dining experience at Gotti's was a bit better than expected, but my expectations were pretty low to start with. Ambience was cosy, it was only myself and one other friend so we had plenty of space in a booth.
The service, its true what the other reviews say, the staff do treat regulars more favorably, but we weren't ignored. People shouldn't take it too heart, get over it.
The food was very cheap, but then again you are dining in Erskine Park next to the local shopping center.
And now on to the food. Portions were very big, me and my friend shared a pasta and a pizza. We got the boscaiola, it was a bit bland and needed parmesan. I've forgotten what the pizza was called but the middle parts of the pizza was cold and the edges were burnt, the taste was average.
Overall, I would go back and try the rest of the menu, but only because its just up the road from home and the prices are cheap.
I’ve been here a number of times including for a couple of birthdays. Food is great, serving’s generous and good value. Yes the seating is cosy, but hey it’s an Italian restaurant! The staff are pretty good too. Don't be put off by the car park front - its all about the food. Try the pastas.
Great place to dine if you want to get up close and personal with everyone you're dining with, fitting 6 people around a 4 person table seems to be the norm. The food is nothing special, sauces were bland, and meat was overcooked and chips were barely cooked at all. The staff play good cop bad cop, one is very nice, and the other is very rude and obviously just doesn't care. Not a good dining experience. This was my second visit here, more fool me, nothing ever changes. Definitely won't be back.
While I am told by many, the food is wonderful, I have dined here twice and now and have not been able to eat my meal. Its not espensive at all except when you consider the cost of throwing out your entire meal. Staff are reasonably friendly but it is a little off putting how 'cosy' they are with some obvious regulars, it leaves you feeling second rate.
Went there with high recommendations from a colleague, and was not disappointed. For the Western Suburbs it went beyond expectations. The front view is a little off putting, but don't be deceived. The food was delicious, with serving sizes that were wholly satisfying. Mains were around the $20 mark. Deserts were also generous, and reasonably priced.
Staff were cheerful and fairly attentive, although at some points we had a bit of a wait our colleague assured us that in the 4 previous times she had been there that month it had all been brilliant. I think that it is a terrific find in the area, and will be back there next week to celebrate my anniversary.
