Well I was there with my family last Friday night when we entered the restaurant we were waiting to be seated but the senior staff that's what I was told busy chatting with his staff rather sending his staff member to seat us. When we received our main course it was luke warm and bland. Had small cockroaches walking around the tables.
If you really want to try Indian food pls go to authentic Indian restaurant not Nepalese or Bangladesh restaurant. I selected this place after reading the review. There is no way I would recommend this place to anyone. I spoke to the senior staff and showed no concern to our complaint.

Checked out this place on a quiet Sunday night. The dhal, a mushroom pea dish and sides of fried rice and garlic naan went down well. Service was polite, friendly and unobtrusive, the dishes were good value.

We ordered via Eatability's Menulog delivery service at 6:30. We called at 7:45 having not received the Menulog confirmatory SMS. The restaurant claimed the food was already on the way. But it delivered at 8:40 and left out one of the mains. We received the Menulog SMS announcing an expected delivery time of 7:36 at 9:15.
The food was generally tasty and stayed down, pappadums and fried rice excellent. But don't order from them if you want it now. Or if you want it all.

Gorkha palace ruined both our excitement and evening with very unpleasant rude and indigestible customer service. They seemed to be more caring and efficient for the walk in customers rather than the booked ones as we were left all by ourselves in a function hall with out any attention and until they were done with all walk in customers. I have never experienced this type of worse management and customer service in my life.

We had such a really bad experience being at Gorkha Palace. Firstly, customer service was insanely awful n the food were disappointing as hell, we found a piece of almunium foil in the middle of rice that shows complete negligence. Not only this, there was no staff to serve the drinks. We had to call them every single minute to do their job. We are not going there again and I will not be recommending Gorkha Palace to anyone else.

I used to frequent their Concord restaurant until I moved to Gladesville, and I was pleasantly surprised that the quality and service is great at both restaurants. I love their Butter Chicken and the Rogan Josh is also good. We have eaten in and the service was great, we have also got takeaway and they are always quick. We love going back here and would recommend it to Indian food lovers.

Ate here with my partner, when we walked in the place smelt strongly of mould/damp, once we had settled in our seats a small cockroach ran up the wall just cm's from my head. Food was nice though,I really enjoyed the curries naan and rice and how it was all prepared.

My brother was visiting from out of town, with him being a vegetarian our restaurant options were limited unless he was content with a simple salad. Which he wasn't.
We decided to try Gorkha Palace and they did not disappoint. We ere blown away by a number of things but I will list a few here briefly in the hope that when you visit you will have a similar experience.
- Value was outstanding, the serving size does not look like much but when you get into it it is more than ample, don't be afraid to ask for a takeaway container or suffer the belt breaking waddle back to the car.
- The clarity of the dishes, quite obviously fresh and quality ingredients are being delivered from kitchen to plate in this restaurant.
- In terms of ambience it has that in spades, not as lavish as most punters like but a humble, homely type vibe that is a warm environment to enjoy a meal with easy conversation
- The service was impeccable. amidst a full main dining room, one young lady set expectations well across the floor and managed to be a solid cohesive agent between the kitchen and patronage. Even managing to check up on us in between meals.
I strongly recommend Gorkha Palace, I have not been back but remember it fondly as somewhere I can rely on if I need to host a Vegetarian looking to eat out. I should highlight they serve meat dishes but on this occasion I did not want to take away from the sharing approach that can make eating out so special, especially with family.

My boyfriend and I ate here last night and absolutely loved our entrees. The dumplings were great, the lamb cutlets were divine and so tender, and the lentil pancake was quite nice too. The mains were nice, however, unfortunately, a little bland. We had the cashew beef which was good and the palak paneer which, unfortunately, did not have much flavour at all. There isn't much ambience to this place, however, its great for a cheap night out as the value for money is excellent, three entrees, two mains and garlic naan for $65.
While the staff were friendly and happy, unfortunately, they were not overly attentive and we ended up opening our own bottle of wine and beers and amusing ourself until they eventually came back. They did, however, do a great job obliging when we asked for a little time between our entrees and mains. All in all Gorkha Palace was a great place for an inexpensive night out and we will eat here again and try some more of their menu.
