I am a regular customer of this restaurant. Even though the ambience is not beautiful at all, the laksa is just more than beautiful. I think the prawn laksa is the best in Sydney.

I had the Chicken and mushroom hotpot and it was really delicious! The food here is inexpensive and reliable for a quick chinese takeaway.

This is not a Malaysian restaurant. I do not know why is this listed as a Malaysian restaurant. The foods are Chinese food (as in from China/HK), but definitely not Malaysian! Foods are cheap but taste is not too good. It's oily and have too much of sauce. It is what I called the "modified" variant of Chinese food.

This cheap and cheerful take out joint is awesome value for money. You can't go past their $6.50 dinner box. Loads of combinations with rice, and is a great choice when you can't be bothered cooking. Located on king street down the south end.

They have friendly service and always are really quick. Only disappointing thing they aren't open Sunday's, which for most people I'd is an ideal takeout night.

I agree. Food is outstanding. And the place is also great for a quick meal and a read of the paper on the laminate tables.

I have been frequenting Good Wok since they opened several years ago on a very regular basis - at least once a week (if not more). The quality of the food is second-to-none in the 'Chinese Restaurant' stakes, and the value-for-money is incomparable. Whether it be the salt and pepper prawns, Honey/Pepper Lamb, the Hotpot or the Special Fried Rice, Good Wok consistently delivers generous portions at an inexpensive price coupled with fantastic and friendly service.

Good Wok also offers the traditional 'Chinese' fare, including your Beef and Black Bean and Lemon Chicken, as well as a number of vegetarian options. You will certainly struggle to 'not find' something to eat! Note that Good Wok is designed more for the takeaway trade, so it will not be your pick for a romantic evening.

However, when you're distracted by the size and taste of the delicious food you're probably not going to be too interested in your surrounds.
