One of the better Yum Cha places in Sydney. Although not as big as the Chinatown venues, it has a nice selection of dishes especially with seafood choices. Service is better than average and waitresses will go out of their way to get you the dish you are after. Also a good place to take someone not familiar with yum cha as it's less intimidating than the chinatown restaurants. Could do with a few more vegetarian options. But overall recommended!

I live locally and try to eat here about once a month. Usually its the Peking duck, which I have not had better elsewhere, and the value compared to China town prices of this dish is almost half.

I've had yum-cha there twice and its very tasty. The tables are a little close together but if you don't mind a little hustle and bustle the overall experience is positive.

Service is great, we are always remembered and greeted warmly. Its always packed with Chinese patrons, which I think shows the authenticity of their food.

I highly recommend the Peking Duck - 10/10, and overall cleanliness and service is great.

Anyone that knows a thing or two about yum cha would probably think twice before coming here.

The food is bland at best, meat is tough and not fit to eat and to top it all off, the food was served warm at our table, not hot. The seating/table arrangements were done very horribly so: staff members pushing the pushcarts often forgot about making their rounds to the people sitting at the centre of the yum cha hall (that was us).

For some that found their way to us, the seating arrangements are done so awkwardly, they had trouble putting the food on the table and ended up spilling the food all over my sister's lap.

From all this, you can probably tell that the service wasn’t the best (they managed to do a good job on clearing empty plates on our table though). Not recommended.

Trolleys were abundant, duck exceptional, calamari good but all the prawn dumplings were perfect not overcooked. The bill for 5 of us was about $180 but we ate far too much because everything was so good, the only gripe I have is the surcharge they put on the bill because I paid by American Express..in this day and age it really annoys me as it is unnecessary. I know it's only a couple of dollars but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Ate there on Saturday, 11 Feb. Plenty of trolleys, good service and food was as good as any in Chinatown. Would definitely go back.

We are regulars at this restaurant and the food is fantastic, always made from fresh produces. The sesame prawn roll and BBQ pork puff are definitely my favourites. The size of yum cha portions are bigger compared to other Chinese restaurants that are within the vicinity. The manager is such a nice guy, very attentive. Other staff also provide us our needs well.

We live locally and decided to support local business and come to this place, what a mistake that was!

The food was tasty with the exception of the salt and pepper calamari which was cold and soft. The service was rubbish and whilst the restaurant was quite full, they only had 4 trolleys operating so everyone had to wait.

Also their receipt at the end is not itemised so I don't know what I was paying for, at just under $90 for 2 people, I thought it was a bit expensive when comparing it to yum cha restaurants in China Town.

The thing that really Annoyed Us was due to the fact that we did not have and tea and couldn't charge us $4 per person, they wanted to charge us $1 per sauce (2 x chilli) and actually said that to us!

I couldn't care less about the $2 but this was extremely petty which makes me think how petty are they in terms of quality of food etc. We are definitely not going back. I'd rather go to yum cha somewhere else and enjoy the district views as well.

At night time its not that great and over priced. Lots of waiters but they're a bit sloppy. Sang Choi bow too crunchy, ie lots of nuts not enough meat. Prawn, scallop and ginger dish had no flavour whatsoever. Duck and mushroom steamed dish had lots of duck but not strong flavour, was ok though but they should mention the mushroom is shiitake as my girlfriend doesn't like shiitake. Mains are in the $20 plus range which is double what better places in kingsford charge, although they are big serves here.
