Only discovered this place in Moorebank a year or two ago, hands down one of the best Chinese places I've ever been (easily the best in the area).

Reading the review just posted below me and they have it spot on! I took my parent's for their anniversary late one night and Tony played them guitar as a treat - even my Mum who is a nightmare to take out regarding fussing over her food loved this place, she even ate more than me!

It's a pity that the outside of the place doesn't seem too appealing, but the inside is expansive with a nice decor (as well as pretty well stocked bar).

Food wise - doesn't taste like your cheap take away chinese food that seems to be so common these days. The dishes are high in quality, would recommend most duck dishes, the shang tung chicken (which seems to be a favourite) and the lamb pancakes. Also, best fried ice-cream I've had in a long time, it's not oily like some other places and they give you a generous helping. Finally, unlike some other places, I've found the take-away food to still be of a really high standard.

Have a cricket dinner this Saturday so looking forward to demolishing some food with the lads and wives this weekend!

I tried this place out once before and found the food to be really nice as most people know it is hard to find a nice chinese restaurant. We have been back a few times now and the food is still of the same High quality, Tony the owner is great with his customers and if you're there late enough he will even pull out his guitar and sing for you! He remembers his customers by name and runs a really tight and well mannered crew.

The outside looks a bit shabby and the inside is open but the atmosphere of laughing groups and huge energy from the staff really makes this place feel like home with mates around! Great Place Great Food Great People!

This is a great restaurant and the best Chinese food I have had in ages. We went there with a group from our son's football team and had the banquet menu (my favourite is the Shang Tung Chicken-yum!). The staff are friendly and service is great, the food is good and there is plenty of it. Would recommend it highly.

Very good restaurant considering the fact it is a suburban restaurant and not in the greatest location. Have been there twice and both times enjoyed the food, which is interesting and different to your average suburban chinese restaurant. We actually tried the peking duck pancakes last time and were pleasantly surprised that they were quite good.

Even better though was the second course using the duck, which was a bean sprout/duck dish with rice. Absolutely beautiful and can't wait to try it again. The restaurant could probably do with a makeover, but that isn't easy in these tough economic times. As long as the food remains good, I will be back.

After reading some of the reviews we decided to visit this restaurant on a Saturday night. It was quite busy but the service was reasonably fast, friendly and adequate. The restaurant itself is one big hall with no separation between the tables, so it can get quite noisy and it's not where you'd necessarily go for a special occasion.

We had the mixed entree with a fried dim sum, a spring roll and sesame toast and these dishes turned out quite average. The crab and corn soup was disappointing, overpowered by the canned corn flavour and full of seafood extender and a lot of corn flour. The steamed dim sums were delicious with a "home made" taste, couldn't have been better.

The mains also were better than in your average Chinese take-away: the hot mixed seafood pot was nicely flavoured, the crispy fried chicken excellent as were the pork ribs in honey sauce. The steamed rice, unfortunately, was very cloggy and too wet. All in all a positive experience, we will certainly return, probably for take away rather than in house dining, though.

This is our local Chinese restaurant and we eat there quite often. We are always greeted like we are friends not just customers. The staff are always friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and generously sized servings. We would recommend it to anyone.

Tony Mak is quite the host. I have frequented his restaurant for years and drive an hour to get there, thats how highly I rate the food. Food is always fresh, extremely tasty and the service is great. This is the only Chinese restaurant I trust to eat at.

From reading the reviews, I had choosen this local restaurant for our company lunch. Our team really enjoyed the varitey and freshness of the food, and the service was just as good. We will use them again for sure!

For a small easily overlooked suburban Chinese joint, this place is up there as far as the overall score is concerned. Nice fresh food, pleasant friendly service, good variety, no hassles, just what you want for a quiet meal.
