We have been to quite a few yum cha restaurants in cabramatta and I find that Golden Harvest to be the freshest and tastiest of them all. Service has always been excellent and the food always hot. It is nice to have different items and most times there has been something new to try, pippies in oyster sauce, Yum and not the usual yum cha fare.

Iron Chef used to be our restaurant of choice and since eating at Golden Harvest, we haven't been back. I suggest you take the ordinary reviews with a grain of salt and give it a try yourself.

Came here for Father's day for Yum Cha brunch. I got to say better than expected as I've read reviews before I came. I would say standard Yum Cha service, nothing extravagant but good enough to let it by. The food was alright, very standard.

Value was good though. We had a lot of food for 3 for only $74, including tea. Now, I've been to places in Chinatown and city in general, and $74 for 3 is good value. I say go there once and see how you feel. Not bad at all.

Went there on Father's Day. I can't believe they gave us such a poor qualities of food. We've ordered 6 dishes. None of them are up to standard. Chicken is over cooked even it looks like it cooked from the night before. We've ordered 2 crabs, think it is only 1 1/4 crab serving on our table. This is a rip off. Sweet and Sour Pork, uncooked. Vegies is like something from the garbage bin. I am Chinese, I know what the food like. Please don't try to fool us. This is the worse dining experience that I ever had!

Yes, yum cha has been expensive for a while. Thats why in general yum cha is not good value nowadays. The view with the giant windows, though not looking at anything spectacular is nice to see. Nil issues with service though it felt they were pushing you a little more than others to order something.

Me and my friend was disappointed, it is slightly below other yum cha places. My friend loves iron chef and says its best saying Iron chef is better, but if you want to eat quickly and not have to wait, this is the place to come.

I've been there three times. Once for yum cha and twice for events including a friends wedding. For people expecting the same dishes that you see everywhere else, then those places are a dime a dozen in Sydney's west. I would say that this place would be on par with Iron Chef in Cabramatta, however, certain elements of the food is more creative.

On my first outing, I was genuinely surprised with the crab sticks in a glass. That type of food and presentation is usually reserved for fine dining in the city. At a friend's wedding, the fluorescent dessert was definitely worth a mention.

All in all, if you don't mind trying new dishes then I'd recommend giving this place a go. In relation to pricing, I believe that it is fair. A drink at a nightclub is $10 nowadays. Definitely not the cheapest yum cha in the world but definitely has lifted the standard in Sydney's west.

Will be attending another friend's wedding there later on in the year and looking forward for another delightful surprise.

I'm a regular for yumcha at this restaurant.
My thoughts: The staff is extremely attentive and polite. The food is great with a wide selection. I highly recommend the pearl sago desert, Peking duck rolls and the chrysanthemum tea instead of the jasmine.

Prices are decent for a restaurant of this calibre (except Peking duck, which is $5 a roll). They have 20% your next visit if you spend $100. Great deal if you ask me. Underground parking is cramped, so get there early! All in all, highly recommended.

The food here is really hit and miss. Sometimes its great, sometimes its bad. Usually with the Chicken feet, the meat just falls off the bone but once it couldn't even be broken with a metal spoon.

At times the congee is consistently textured and at other times it is very watery.

Too many staff walking around just chatting amongst themselves and not even noticing customers requiring service. Some few staff were very obliging with requests... but not a consistent attitude with the majority.

Atmosphere is nice but tend to agree with other customers with the pricing. I understand you pay for what you get, but you never really get what you pay for.

I had a private function and the coral trout cooked two ways was delish! The service was fantastic too, they served us a la carte style and they were friendly! I'll definitely be back.

Took my family here to have yum cha and found it to be absolutely delicious. They serve Hong Kong style yum cha and the food comes out fresh and hot. I was told that all dumplings were made fresh on the day and not frozen like other yum cha restaurants.

The staff were friendly and attentive and there was plenty of food to choose from. You must try the chicken feet, the prawn dumplings and for dessert, the mango sago coconut milk dessert. An absolute must! It was nice to have a meal with relaxing music playing in the background.

The decor is beautiful, a nice open space with plenty of natural lighting. The fish tank at the front with the big red Arowana is just beautiful. I can't want to come back again and introduce all my friends to this new restaurant. Well done.
